Eber is 6'4" without having to wear heels -- I think he could be taller in shoes. [I stood next to him in boots that make me 6"1" and he was at least 3" taller than me -- so I think that 6' 4" is his real height -- in bare feet. I agree, I think Adam likes being tall and works to give the impression he is tall on stage. But you do not need to be tall to give a tall impression on stage. David Bowie (officially 5' 10", that is a bit of an exaggeration -- at best he was 5' 9") looks tall on stage because of his build (thin, long legs) and the way he dresses. Even though I knew how tall Adam is, the first time I saw him live, I was surprised how tall he really is. (The 4' heels didn't hurt! ) I have read countless comments from people meeting him that say the same thing -- people seem surprised how tall and how nice he is. In any case, all I can really remember is being dumb-struck and his eyes. [Anyone who knows me, knows the thought of me being speechless is just too ridic and very rare.]

An interesting new effort to mine twitter data to help music executives sell music. Since Adam does well on twitter, trending etc., this could be useful to him in the long run and it is location based so execs could see his worldwide appeal. Every time I worry about anonymity, there is something new and useful introduced. I guess that's OK since Google pretty much knows everything about me anyway. New Venture to Mine Twitter Data to Find Music’s Next Big Thingwww.nytimes.com/2014/02/03/business/media/twitter-and-300-team-up-to-find-musical-talent.html?hp Good for Adam but he is so big on Twitter that datamining the entire Twitter database (what 300 will be doing) is not needed. You can find Adam in the sample that is generally available. But the related Twitter effort to use Twitter Data as a music popularity measure to rival Billboard/Nielsen Soundscan is great for Adam. My guess is that Adam is more popular within the Twitter universe (including IG and other Twitter-linked social media) than he is in any other sphere. ** There is a hope that this kind of datamining will enable identification of artists like Lorde and Macklemore & Ryan earlier. I am not sure about how anyone is advantaged by this vs. reading things on the web. JMHO, but I believe active crowd-sourcing can power-out passive data analysis for something like this. I have been working on this -- in consumer products and entertainment for many, many years.

Whatever happened with that Trespassing compilation of live performances we were promised?
I just had an epiphany. With utmost certainty I can now say that my favourite Adam Lambert song ever is Broken Open. It pains me to say so since I love the others dearly as well, but... that's how it is.
RIP Philip Seymour Hoffman.

Thanks all for the Eber replies...
I seem to recall his father was an engineer in Trondheim and Eber lived there for awhile...I lost so much Adamnalia when my computer crashed.

shoshanna stone @shoshannastone 1mExciting thing to announce this week let the speculations begin! Is the reason that this has been received so calmly that no one believes it is related to Adam? Have we been conditioned like Pavlov's dogs?

Aleks, you probably know this version, but I couldn't resist posting it anyway. This made me really understand, see and feel the song for the first time.
