Maybe it's because the song is quite repetitive, but I'm not that impressed with the vocals. And I am a BIG fan of Sting  I was more impressed by the guitar solo - that was great!  Yes...agree....I think even Letterman found it hard to muster a huge amount of emotion. And....was this the duet she was speaking of? Does anyone know off hand the connection between Sting an Ivy...is it a label? Or friends? Sheesh ... Why the heck that song? Showed little range or character from either...odd choice. I've always loved Sting and Ivy is gorgeous and full of personality. But together? No chemistry at all. If someone said they'd had a blazing row before going on I would believe it. At the end (and almost all the way through) Sting doesn't look at her.....really odd. Can quite see why Adam is a fan of hers - she has great presence, interesting look and voice. |

For those of us impatient fans who are starving for Adam news/info/song leaks or anything more than another outing at Bootsy Bellows, I have a sad prediction. The Olympics start in two days and continue thru the 23rd. I don't think we will get ANYTHING Adam of significance while the media is focused on the athletics and politics of the Olympic games. (Probably also why Glee goes on hiatus from the holidays, thru football playoff, the superbowl, and the Olympics.) Those of us who don't give a flying flip about athletics/athletes are going to have to find other activities to relieve our boredom. So be it. But this intense forward motion better start at the end of the month or I may go CRAZY.

It was fun to watch the videos from Japan! Adam is so adorable and pretty with his chrome etc hair... 
Now that I remembered I could do clickable links behind a word I've added them to my post above (on pg 3) - much easier to use. |

Agree with Cassie and Kamar... 20 days to read short threads and actually get real life stuff activating. Gotta redo/edit the draft of our will, figure out what to do with boxes of past job stuff/filing cabinets full of "stuff" ...just too much stuff...I bet even with no ADAM FOR 20 days I will have to push myself to still not check in repeatedly during this short hiatus. Old habits die hard!  |

The Idol Workshops with Adam and Chris Daughtry are probably on during the Olympics -- I think it starts on Feb 18th. And thankfully, that is not against skating! Regarding intense forward motion, I think it has started, but is just not being shared with fans. After the oversharing that Adam did on FYE and Trespassing (which did not serve either project well from critical reception to sales promo), I think it is a smart move to stage the promo properly. But we got used to Adam sharing things along the way and it is hard to deal with there being so little communication -- like no communication. Finally, I like the quiet because it usually means that Adam is working, and I want new music more than I want news. *** The Sony history wall is kind of interesting. They really should label it -- the History of Companies Purchased by Sony.
