Yes, that was always the one concern with HCJr. His conservative attitudes. And music tastes, for that matter.
Sometimes he can be like a cave man, who has missed a few decades in life. Don't get me wrong, I looooove that AI finally got a knowledgeable judge, who is respectful, but truthful and to the point at the same time. But his attitudes can be a problem, and I am sure we will see more of that problem on the life shows going forward.
Will be interesting how HCJr interacts with Adam. Hope we get to see that. What happens when a great voice, which he obviously will know that Adam has, intersects with his personal taste, which is clearly different.
And JLo is too dumb to get it anyways, any which way you try to think about this topic or that audition that she did not get. Hope she and HCJr read some of these blogs and online reviews.
Would Adam have made it through an audition, if he had had to face this panel? I think he would have made it through the audition round, and gone to Hollywood, but I doubt he would have made it to the finals. Just my perception of this panel.

In other news, I think we should give this Rockstar song a chance. My ten year old had heard and recognized the song immediately, which means it must have been used extensively by some of these kids shows on Disney, Nickelodeon, etc....
Glee does have a much younger audience too. Grooming new Glamberts and luring them with what they can relate to, imo. A song from The Darkness may not be quite able to get that accomplished with the next generation. So, I think, it is all good, even if we here all think this song is too simple for Adam, which it of course is. We got to write it off as marketing and it still will be great to hear with Adam's and Chris' vocals instead of those limited original voices.

I'm so happy to read what you write..love your choice of phrases ,words&thoughts. I have a thought here in what It must be like to be an artist ,a writer,etc. Can you imagine yourself writing a book and your fans want to know what you put down on the page everyday.. Can you imagine how that would hinder the creative juices.In the course of writing a song ,how many pages are torn up before you get it to be what you want to say. Adam IMHO,needs the space,privacy and time to create. I remember ,when we couldn't find Adam for a month. I believe he was in a hotel with a studio attached to it and he was working on an album. Many of us thought he fell off the face of the earth, I know I was pretty bereft. With this new album,Adam is still working on lots of other things too,so he probably has less time to spend on song writing.I agree Aleksandrakv ,I think many of us want to know what Adam is thinking.. Pretty intrusive .. I mean what does he have left ,but the privacy of his thoughts.It's the one thing nobody can take from him.
