Barbara @barbls23 Adam Lambert and Chris Daughtry Returning to 'American Idol' as Mentors aceshowbiz.com/news/view/0006… via @aceshowbiz
Gelly @14gelly Chris Daughtry, Adam Lambert Coming Back to "American Idol" as Mentors 1073hits.com/common/more.ph…
It looks there is some media noting the mentoring - which is awesome!
Does anyone following AI know how the ratings were this year so far? I also expect a fully understandable dip due to Olympics, so I wonder what would be considered "good numbers" for these episodes.
-------- A great QAL discussion! I am so ecstatic for us in the US to have a chance to see them, to hear Brian play his guitar, to hear and see Adam do his magic that I really don't care who will be in the audience. All I want is to be able to afford to be there! As many times as possible...

With all this talk of QAL and of the 50th anniversary of the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show, it made me wonder how people would react if Paul and Ringo reunited, Dhani Harrison took his dad's (George's) place, and someone stood in for John Lennon? I'd approve of Dhani for George's spot, because Dhani is a talented musician in his own right AND looks and sounds just like George. But I don't think either Sean or Julian Lennon would be a worthy sub for John. Adam is awesome in every way, and it would be interesting to hear his take on various Beatle tunes. But vocally and performancewise, he's so unlike John that the results would be way different from the original. Fun to speculate, though.

Talon Thank you very much for your great post about Queen+ matter. I have been Queen fan before AL fan. I have followed Adam since his Idol audition. When he sang "Mama..." I said to my niece "He is the One, someday he will be an Icon". When those Hammersmith dates 2012 were announced I thought it was an ideal compilation, both my idols Queen+AL! So I got the tickets! Before the concert I joined the Queenonline forum and excitedly started to read comments of Queen+AL. The concert was beyond all I could imagine, like heaven. The atmosphere was unbeliavable great and the whole audience sang together with QAL. But the discussions on the Queen forum were not like heaven on the contrary like purgatory. Talon, you explained very well this Queen fan matter. I'm still lurking Queen forum but posting very seldom. Those so called dy hard Queen fans never accept Adam as a frontman. I have tried to defend Adam but it is so frustrating. So I don't try anymore. Fortunately I found Adamtopia I'm happy with Adam and Adamtopia and I'm eagerly waiting for QAL dates because I try to get a ticket! If there is no Europe Date I'm ready to travel to U.S.A.

Enjoyed the QAL discussion today. Interesting that some folks grow to love Queen music due to Adam. For me it was viceversa. I discovered AL listening to Queen music on Youtube. It happen last February. It didn't take long for me to become a fan. at the beginning i thought this obsession will not last long, but it seems that it gets worse. Fortunately I've learned that I am not alone. Great place here, and i love that there are so many different opinions.

Elenamed...I love how you, a Queen fan first, found Adam/Queen performances and then became a Adam fan! You join the many many AFL fans who thought their obsession would not last long...heck I was never a fan of any other artist to the point I'd go find everything about them and join a fan website! Adam changes things.....love the continuous roller coaster ride...I will always be a fan of this brilliantly talented, charismatic, always artistically pushing forward, social statement making, good hearted and caring human being!
