[comes in tying lolly-covered moderator hat under chin] Guys - I'm starting to see the word "bullying" coming up disturbingly frequently over the last day or so. I am going to repeat this site's philosophy: EVERY ADAM FAN IS ENTITLED TO THEIR OPINION.
AS LONG AS IT IS DONE RESPECTFULLY (and hopefully with a dash of humor) EVERYONE IS FREE TO STATE THEIR OPINION.
No one is required to agree with some sort of mythical "consensus". Some topics won't be to you're personal liking - and that's ok - just scroll. Its absolutely not ok to accuse people of being buzzkills because they don't agree with you. Being an Adam fan is sometimes a roller coaster rider, sometimes a seeming death march through the desert, and often a fun splash in the pool. Just realize that different people feel differently at different times, which is also ok. This place is made more lively and fun with lots of different ideas. Just keep throwing glitter on the barn through all the up/down/ridiculous, because laughter makes everything better.  Oh, and if there are problems, just PM a mod. Its our job to fix stuff.  |

By the way, did you guys know proboards has a feature to hide posts by specified users. So, if, for example, posts by juniemoon just consistently annoy the hell out of you, you can hide them. All you have to do is click on the person's name. You go to a page where over on the right hand side, there is a little drop-down menu that looks like a gear. There you can choose to "block" a member and you get options such as hiding their posts.
When you do so, and that person posts, all you see is a little button that says, "This post is hidden." If you want to read it anyway, all you have to do is click the button. You can also go and unhide the person anytime you want. The person will never know.
For what it's worth. It doesn't seem to work on the phone app, just FYI.

What always interested me about this pic is that with just a curl under of his lips to thin them and a slump to his shoulders he became someone else. not that a fan would not have recognized him, but with a tiny tiny little bit more effort he could have passed right by fans incognito! Its not so easy to "recognize" a stranger you only know from vids ... The one time I saw Adam I had just seen him on stage in Helsinki and still ran down a whole check list in my mind (saw him from behind at the Airport after the concert): cap, hairline, jacket, pants, posture .... what sold me was the shoes, what threw me was that everyone says he is "so tall" - to me his is average male. But the boots sold the deal and then I saw him on the plane and yadda yadda yadda ....  I've often wondered if I'd recognize one of my "heroes," like Mick Jagger, on the street. The one time I did see an actor years ago, it was a character actor whose name I didn't even know. As we approached each other on the sidewalk, I thought "I know him, but who is he?" I said hi, he smiled a little and said hi, and we passed. Haha. Bringing it back to Adam, we were in NYC around the time of his MTV Unplugged show and I was on the lookout, but no luck... |

The spoiler list has been out since Christmas! These are the 31 involved in the workshop. |

ADAM ON OUR TVs 6 TIMES IN THE NEXT 2 MONTHS! DOESN't GET MUCH BETTER THAN THAT!!  BTW, I am pretty sure, with these appearances he will have been in TV shows more than any other Idol besides Kelly who did that bad Duets series last year! |

BTW, I am pretty sure, with these appearances he will have been in TV shows more than any other Idol besides Kelly who did that bad Duets series last year! You are right...it doesn't get a lot better than that! I was not crazy about much of Duets either...especially Robin Thicke  BUT it did introduce me to Jennifer Nettles, who IMHO would be a great duet partner with Adam. They both have that 'involved/eye contact' way about doing a duet that raises the whole experience to another level. She was the first singer I had seen that approached a duet in the same manner that Adam does....and that we all love about him. She does not bring the gravitas of someone like Queen, or even Melissa Ethleridge, but she can sang AND harmonize. He would not get that from Xtina or Gaga..... which reminds me...OTT so block or scroll if you wish...but who remembers that magical duet between Babs and Neil Diamond so many years ago....that was eye contact... |

Fantastic! Thanks for posting this! Am I the only one who wonders if he has more than one of these shirts?  In this vid it looks well worn.......and the one he wore at Hammersmith looked pretty fresh to me....  Meh....perhaps he was just sweating more at River Rock....but dang! That boy gets the maximum wear out of his wardrobe, doesn't he?  |

REALLY can appreciate his voice on that artistic performance....nothing beats live ...
And when he is in concert--- the energy produced and feelings displayed have caused some beautiful unexpected renditions like this one. I would think the organic side of singing Adam --- comes as he "warms up to the excitement of performing and the feel of the "house". Lucky us!
I was there for that awesome rendition and did not even remember it was like that. Appreciate the reminder.
I must say after his live performances the concert seems like a bit of a blur for me. I am just so enjoying the moment...
Someone needs to tweet that out for Adam ---to even refresh his memory, as to the variations he has created of Mad World. (Even the way he sang the song portion ...was a beautiful, powerful, emotional version of the song, and I "felt it".)
