skylar I wanted to address each of comments individually but do not know how to break up the quotes except manually so here goes:
Sometimes feelings are wrong. Feelings of hurt, anger and betrayal over an entertainer living their life and making choices for themselves that have absolutely NOTHING to do with you (collective you not singular you) are wrong. They are overinvestment, entitlement and IMO bordering on delusional. It is not our career and we don't know the ins and outs of the choices that are being made or why they are being made.
If someone wants to express a negative opinion on a fan board they should be well prepared for a backlash from fans who honestly don't want to be pulled down into the pit of dispair that some fans seem to thrive in. When the same people express the same negative opinions over and over it becomes too much. The solution is to leave, as many have already done due to the constant harping on the negative instead of looking for the positive. IMO if all the people leave who are positive and optimistic this fandom will die a miserable and painful death.
If being a fan brings you anything other than joy, laughter and entertainment then step away from it because what is the point of forcing yourself to endure situations that are so far out of your control?

A single before Queen would be a very smart strategy, IMO. Plus Adam said an album this year and I am thinking Fall. I don't understand your reasoning, Kamar. I don't understand you guys either . Queenbert clearly didn't do anything to help TRSP (it screwed it up , IMO) , so I can't see why it could possibly help era 3 . Maybe with the money , I guess ? Not getting me excited at all . I really couldn't care less . It's getting old . There's no way on earth there'll be an album out in spring . You guys know that Adam is a snail when it comes to working on albums and getting them perfect (they do come out perfect in the end , tho) So him having to work with Queen in the summer will only make the process even slower . Maybe working on Glee will make the process slower too , but it will make him win a younger fanbase . He needs a younger fanbase , those are the fans that'll make him "popular" . No offense to the older fanbase , of course . And "Lay Me Down" is never going to be a single . Avicii is working on a new one already . Guess Adam ain't "popular" enough for Avicii to even consider putting out "Lay Me Down" as a single . So no excitement there . Ivy who ? Melissa what ? Puh-leeze . . . I mean , is that "intense" ? cuz I'm not feeling it *shrug* Most of the world have no clue who Ivy is (I only know about her because Adam pimps her) , and for Melissa , I have never EVER heard of her . Will those duets help Adam in any way ? Get him some mainstream success ? A song on the radio ? simply NO . Sorry , not interested . I know most of you guys will hate me for this post , but I just had to post this . And don't worry , I'm out . Will probably never come back , I don't feel good in this place anymore . Kamar, i think you are forgetting that Queen took him out of the country last time. This time he would be in the US. The cross promo, as he traveled to different US cities, would be great! Actually, it would be amazing! No one said an album in Spring, did they? OFC, not! There'd be a single already. You specifically said single, not album. As far as Avicii goes, I was always skeptical about LMD being a single, but for the opposite reason you state. I think Nile and Adam are too famous for Tim's manager :( Never trusted him! LOL! And you know before Daft Punk, Nile, and Pharrell did their collab, it had been many years since their last hits. DP's last album was 8 years ago! You never know when lightning will strike! Adam should be open for all collabs!! I'll bet 2 years ago, before Get Lucky , if he had said he was doing a collab with Daft Punk, you would have said they were old, outdated, EU disco music!! But most of all, I believe Adam. He said an album this year. We have evidence he is recording, besides him saying he is recording. I have no reason to doubt him. Hang in there, BB! |

I don't think I have seen this..love his answers (from them you can clearly assume what was asked) so very positive and encouraging. Drama flouncing... *eye roll* whatever... I have empathy galore for anyone having a difficult or frustrating time finding patience waiting for Adam .. But not this. re: origins of MELVIN.. Didn't the name start after he showed up at the premier of "Sister Act 2" in NYC with the it and then the sharpie colored one at the ASCAP awards? |

Patience grasshoppers patience. We'll know when we know. Adam will do what's right for Adam. I know waiting in line for our turn on the roller coaster sucks but we will all enjoy the ride when it comes.
