OT but in case anyone is interested here is the video for U2's single "Invisible". It's a project (RED) single so proceeds are going to the Global Fund for AIDS. To relate it to Adam, wouldn't it be cool for Adam to have this microphone to swing on during concerts? www.youtube.com/watch?v=ajVoeX4eqIQDo you know what (RED) means in the title? Project (RED) is an initiative that Bono got started to get more corporate money going in to the Global Fund. The idea is that products sold as (RED) product have a portion of sales donated to the fund but the real benefit is that the marketing dollars spent on these products help raise awareness. It is a way of piggy backing on the prodigious marketing budgets that product rollouts have in order to vastly increase the exposure for AIDS awareness. Because today is a very slow day I've decided to have a look at the few pics I took in London, Hammersmith on the 12th. Maybe you can see on the collage that not only the music and the musicians were breathtaking - also the light show and the effects were almost surreal. Every time I look at these pics I get chills... it really was magic! And I can't wait till dates are announced for the next QAL tour. And as I've written before, I HOPE that there will be dates in Europe!!!!   And I REALLY REALLY want some dates in Europe too. Talking about that... I think that the signs all point to a special concert in Amsterdam. Adam just followed a Dutch guy on twitter, I have a picture of Adam at the exact same track in Amsterdam Central Station where I get off my train every morning, Queen is from the UK (and they are our neighbours, sorta, if you remove all that water in the North Sea), the Dutch are absolutely dominating the speed skating, hell... I am Dutch and I just need Adam to get here and sing asap! So, I guess I am going to start clearing my schedule for the summer right away.  |
