My wish for Adam is that he would have his own TV show on cable and feature all his talented friends from the Zodiac Show. I wish for radio play with his next album featuring most of the songs on it, just the way it happened for Adele.  |

My wish is to turn on my radio and hear Adam Lambert on a regular basis; not just once a week/month, but every hour like I hear some of the other songs I hear. This! I would also love it if Adam could get a high-profile gig like the halftime show at the Super Bowl. If he did, I would watch the Super Bowl for the first time in my life. Well, I'd have it on but keep it on mute and do something else until Adam came on. |

Someone on ATop a month ago asked on YT why folks keep referring back to Come To Me Bend To Me, when it is ten years old. He has so many gorgeous newer recordings. For me, the answer is that Adam no longer sings this more formal, classical style of music. I long to hear him sing in that "legitimate" voice as a mature, 32 year old. So,
Wouldn't it be nice if Adam starred in a Broadway musical, or even better, in the next big musical shown on national TV like the Sound of Music was.
Wouldn't it be nice if Adam made an album called "Lambert sings the phone book" where each song on the album is a different genre: rock, metal, jazz, musical, standard, torch song, ballad, pop, art song, country (ugh) and opera. Oh, and I guess you could throw in a Christmas carol. Probably "O Holy Night."
Wouldn't it be nice if Adam did a special charity fundraiser concert aired on HBO. For the ramp up to the concert, fans would nominate songs they want Adam to sing (in any style/genre). Then fans would "vote" for the songs by contributing $. Fan groups could do their own fundraising to make a large block contribution. Adam would then sing the top 20 vote getters, plus ten of his own choosing. Oh, and it goes without saying that Adam would have a first rate full band and orchestra with a great musical director. Adam would also style himself to match each of the songs he sang, giving us all a plethora of pretty.
In a non-musical vein, wouldn't it be nice if Adam had the starring role in a movie. Probably something comedic with a character like those played by one of the "Grants." Cary or Hugh. Or, he could be James Bond. Yeah, that would work.

Well, I'd have it on but keep it on mute and do something else until Adam came on. w Murly, I just read about the Bruno Mars halftime show. I saw it, and I thought he did a good job, even though I am not particularly a fan ( I think he does lazy music and is nasally). There were lots of negative comments. These comments included, that with only a couple of albums under his belt he didn't deserve the show, it was frantic, it was lipsynched (which it was), etc. Bruno was actually on Ellen and defended his selection for the half-time show and the show itself. Obviously most people didn't know he had been performing since the age of 3, had written for many other singers, has had success, etc. While there were many that praised his program, there were more negatives to outweigh the positives.
While I would love to see Adam perform at halftime and blow everybody away. Considering the audience, I would hate for him to have defend why he was performing there. I not sure the haters would come out full force, but even though Bruno is very successful, he still had to defend himself.
It seems everybody has an opinion, but it seems that the haters make the news. Katy Perry was recently attacked for her singing the Beatle's Yesterday at the Beatle's tribute. It seems more attacking occurs than praise.
So maybe a little protectiveness coming out. I would love to see him do the half-time showand just cause jaw dropping moments.
