OT but I just watched the American Bode Miller ski and win a medal. I couldn't believe the lady who interviewed him after the race. He had lost his younger brother this year and he himself had battled a lot of injuries and she kept asking him about the loss of his brother and saying things about his brother to him until he finally broke down and started to have tears. How insensitive can you be lady. She just wouldn't let it go. So disappointed and a bit angry that she had no compassion.  He finally had to walk away because he was so choked up and trying not to lose it. Thank goodness he had the love of his wife who came to console him. I had exactly the same feeling... it was so insensitive and invasive! but the main thing - he got a medal! So happy for him! |

I had exactly the same feeling... it was so insensitive and invasive! but the main thing - he got a medal! So happy for him! I was thrilled he won a medal but totally disgusted with that interviewer. |

OT, but about Bode Miller. Bode's younger brother, Cheolone, was training in snowboarding and was hoping to be with Bode at the Sochi Winter Olympics, but it wasn't to be. The medal that Bode won in the Super-G had to have been very special and heart-felt as a tribute to his younger brother. While he has said in the past that medals didn't mean much to him, this one did. I'm so glad he won this medal.
