OT but I just watched the American Bode Miller ski and win a medal. I couldn't believe the lady who interviewed him after the race. He had lost his younger brother this year and he himself had battled a lot of injuries and she kept asking him about the loss of his brother and saying things about his brother to him until he finally broke down and started to have tears. How insensitive can you be lady. She just wouldn't let it go. So disappointed and a bit angry that she had no compassion.  He finally had to walk away because he was so choked up and trying not to lose it. Thank goodness he had the love of his wife who came to console him. That just made me sick. She was clearly trying to get as much of an emotional reaction from him as she could, exploiting his pain for her own sensationalist purposes. I hope enough people express their outrage so that interviewer will be reprimanded. |
