This is a musing from a non-connected music person - me. What if: Nile is in London to help produce/arrange this show/music. Nile's greatest work has been in producing. He is current as we saw in the music awards. He gets rock music. What if there will be an album released from this. What if there are new songs as we have read? That need current arranging. This could be fun!! If it goes together right - the concerts could go round the world. When you dream, dream big...... Nile is in London but why would he go to London to produce a song for Adam? Nile is in London for the Brit Awards -- they are in two days. He will be performing with Pharrell Williams. So not only why would Nile go to London to produce a song for Adam, but why would Nile be producing a song for anyone while he was in the midst of the PR for a major event. |

Earlier there was an indication that Adam's band was rehearsing for a summer tour. Sadly, that is not the case. The calendar has been left open, by design or otherwise, for all the terrific opportunities Adam has ahead including the upcoming Queen tour, not yet finalized. So what do the band members do when Adam is not touring with his own band? It's a real dilemma because the band earns their paycheck when they are actively rehearsing or performing. It puts the band members in a position where they have to find another gig to pay the bills. Although the band was rehearsing on January 22 and coincidently had the opportunity to meet Sir Paul McCartney, it was for a private event. The event was cancelled at the last minute even while the band was at the airport. I'm sure you can recall the picture Ashley posted on Instagram of her bass and amp clearing security. There was a bit of a scramble to get luggage back but it all worked out. At the end of January, there was an opportunity to audition for another well known artist looking to refresh his band. Adam's bassist received a call to try out at the audition. As you can imagine, there was a huge response as all instruments were involved. A bit of a cattle call. Not American Idol numbers, but a significant daunting number nonetheless. After the first day, round one, it became clear at the beginning of day two, the band was going to be made up of all female musicians. After a rigorous day competing for another four rounds involving some hugely talented ladies, the music director had enough information to make his/their selection. They chose Ashley Dzerigian. So... Ceelo Green has a new bassist. Now this forum can be critical at times about the band, but Ashley has the goods to compete with the very best, and win!!! I had a chance to watch Ceelo Green perform at a familiar venue to all of us at Fantasy Springs in Indio this past Saturday. The show and Ceelo were very entertaining. That's what I expected. The band was awesome. Ashley was gracious enough to outline this experience with me when I had a chance to meet her after the show. So while Adam remains her priority, Ashley will be working. Ceelo Green will be on tour as the guest star of Lionel Richie from May 29 through August 3 across the US and Canada. Just a couple or three thoughts... 1. The ideal of an Adam headline summer tour was a total fan-tasy. The basis for this indication was a comment made by a vendor who was selling T-shirts at a recent Adam concert. 2. The photo of Ashley and her amp at the airport (she tweeted it) was Ashley heading from LAX to Vancouver where she filled for Airborne Toxic Event's bassist who was out on paternity leave. ashleydzerigian

Just spent the last 45 minutes in the dark...my power went out...but my laptop has a battery full charged and I guess my wifi has back power or something cause I was able to stay on Adamtopia until the power came back on. It was so nice knowing I was not alone. It was such a good feeling.  Love you guys!! |

Momtomany....I love your Adam/Queen schedule! I would really love to see them go to (besides St. Louis lol!) Brazil and end with a few shows in the UK. I really want Wembley Stadium but I'd take anywhere in the UK.

I'm sure it's very hard to come up with tour dates that work for everyone. Queen members all have families -- although older there's probably plenty of family celebrations and such. Besides, they've done this all before and I'm sure the dew is off the rose. They may have plenty of old friends to reconnect with but I sort of feel like if they pull this off it may be a swan song of sorts. That being said, I feel like it will be an International Tour spread out quite sparingly over the globe.
Momtomany, Mys*&@^#r50, CrazyforAdam and Flowers have pulled together some great lists. I'd be especially happy for the International Tour that Momtomany has compiled. |

Thank you Q3! Because I was seriously confuse with this rumor of Adam summer tour. We don't have new label announcement YET, no new single announcement. Off course after these two announcement Adam will have to do his promo tour for the single and album. If Adam's releasing single and album in summer then we may get the tour on the Fall. What I learn from Atop, when musician doing their tour is usually to support/promote heir new music. So if Adam doesn't have new music yet, what is he promoting? It doesn't make any sense .. to me  |
