Wow! He let something out for us to listen to. Thanks, Kamar. It's actually the guy who was working with him that posted the video , Not Adam , hehehe It's like a "leak" but not an actual leak , more like a short teaser . Yes, it wasn't Adam's video. But as there has been almost no leaking, I'm betting Adam probably ok'd this Instagram. He has probably told people he has worked with not to publicize that information.

The timing of this "leak" is interesting. It is right in the beginning of his run on TV. I think it is planned. And I love it! ETA: Kamar thanks for posting vid #1 but I beat you on #2!!

Is it possible that they're saving some boot-camp footage for results night? (including Adam's birthday)! I can't believe this crop of women are the best singers/performers who auditioned for Idol. But they just are not as good as even last's years Idol contestants. Forget about some of my favs. Serious, Alison could have blow away that version of "Paint It Black" even if she had a cold. >> Where did the show I loved go, and can someone bring it back? People often post that Adam broke Idol. Well he didn't. The network suits and 19 and everyone involved in this muddle of a show pretending to be Idol broke it. >> I hope tonight is better and that they can get it back on track in the finals. But there can only be one big singing competition in the US, and looks like the baton has been passed to The Voice. Now all that has to happen is The Voice needs to make the right Adam a judge. Then I would be totally happy. Q3.... Totally agree with your previous post as well as this one. These shows are about "VOICE", and the IT factor. I did not see, as yet, one female with both... the IT factor ...and voice. Sure I appreciated two voices, Emily and MK. On The Voice show ...with no mentoring ....I am drawn in by the VOICE and performance by many. Many competitors on these shows "grow us" into "their --IT Factor--" as the competition progresses, and their confidence and a repertoire opens our belief in their abilities. BUT none of these females really "grabbed me" like some past season's AI early performers. My thinking is bang on with our thoughts--- per an except from my post last night.
"With so many singing out of tune .... I chalk it up to inexperience and nerves. No comparison to voices on The Voice ( experience and age can make a difference when put through the ringer in a competition like this) I still cannot believe these voices are the best of thousands of females who auditioned."
It is the judges and producers credibility on the line...WHY...WHY...WHY these voices.... ....and it may just break this AI institution. Well ...it is up to the men tonight to revive my spirit and prove me wrong!

That 15 seconds of Adam singing in the studio makes me happier and more excited than the two hours of Idol last night. Damn! Such a voice. Made for the blues. More! More! And, if the acoustic guitar video is any indication of a more stripped back production I am doubly happy.

Is it possible that they're saving some boot-camp footage for results night? (including Adam's birthday)! Yes, I think that we could see a bit then but I would not expect to see too much because they are clearly trying to focus on the contestants and announcing/promoting the Finalists. Thursday's results show is the last Idol before The Voice starts which I think is going to crush Idol in the ratings this year. I can't believe this crop of women are the best singers/performers who auditioned for Idol. But they just are not as good as even last's years Idol contestants. Forget about some of my favs. Serious, Alison could have blow away that version of "Paint It Black" even if she had a cold.>> Where did the show I loved go, and can someone bring it back? Then I would be totally happy. THIS!!!! I can't believe these are the "best" girls they had out of auditioning thousands! They went for the young and the inexperienced for some reason, and I remember Randy said in some recent interview the girls were "stronger" than the boys this year?!?!?! My impression of The Voice is they have contestants with experience, not necessarily teens, so the overall quality of performance must be better. On top of that the format is such that the judges are invested as opposed to the condescending atmosphere on AI. IMO last night was full of disrespect towards some of the girls while others were praised for no reason - well, aside from producer manipulation that is.... As it was said before - the way they decided to eliminate 5 girls was just horrible! Why do they feel reality TV needs to be CRUEL? Does it really attract viewers? IMO it was just a waste of time to go over the annoying "selection" reasoning by the judges then the girl's reactions then the run through this endless pathway to the stage. The time would've been better spent showing more of the workshop footage. I loved Chris - a wonderful surprise for me. And of course there is never enough Adam, but I am grateful for the "arm" moment and the "rock" moments. I am looking forward to the coaching moments tonight!

Well ...it is up to the men tonight to revive my spirit and prove me wrong! Randy said he thought that the girls were slightly stronger than the boys. That does not bode well for "reviving our spirits" or proving you wrong. As for chalking up the girls' poor performances to inexperience and nerves, how is it different than the previous twelve seasons of Idol? You are right, there were tens of thousands of females auditioning. Idol CAST these gals above much better, more experienced singers. Their choice. But, perhaps because The Voice casts better singers to begin with, this choice could backfire on them. Folks may now expect better voices. I just don't see that last nights' contestants would make anyone want to watch every week or pick up a phone and vote. ETA: Or, what nica just said above me.
