Just watching movie "20 Feet from stardom" and man o man these people can SANG! This lady in particular is one (Lisa Fischer) I would kill to hear Adam sing with - just amazing instrument (note this clip is not from movie she sings from about 1.10): youtu.be/EsgzoKmI4OgEdit add: if you haven't seen the movie and you love singing RUN don't walk and watch it. |

God, he looks so happy playing on GLEE!!! So happy for him! And yes I agree watching him on Idol, Glee and then RuPaul......it's a different Adam each time! Hope more people notice this! (hope they notice his music more now too  )  |

Was watching an Adam YT and another popped up as a suggestion when it ended. Curious, I clicked on it. It was a fan made video of Adam photos accompanied by the song "Something's Coming" from West Side Story. (dedicated to the intense forward motion we are all anxiously anticipating).
Cute compilation, but as I listened to the vocals I thought, "It certainly isn't Adam. He would KILL that song (in a glorious way), but whoever is singing this doesn't have much of a voice. Not near what I am used to from musical theater.' When the song finished I looked at the info posted below the video and found it was a Glee version, sung by Darren Criss.
Not saying this to be mean-spirited or snarky. Just to point out that there is often quite a difference between pop singers and trained theater singers. And most of the Glee kids are the former, not the latter.
