I DIG IT I've seen some people on Twitter like "where's the high notes?", the answer to that is: Chris + Adam are in fact singing the song note-for-note but it's been transposed down by 5 semitones from F major to C major.
Do you think they did this because Chris wouldn't be able to hit that F major?
By the way listening to the full song, I got the feeling we will get the same reaction as "Marry the Night" again.
I Love all the songs in trespassing, but I have to admit that I really I miss rocker Adam. I cannot wait for this Glee episode.

I should have learned by now, not to form an opinion about an Adam song based on snippets, lol. How often has this happened now? Love the whole song. Love that it builds more, by starting lower. But I certainly think that the brilliance of the song comes through in the best way in the higher notes, not the lower ones. But it helps to not have the whole song sit so high. Adam is clearly driving this song vocally. He is leading, and Chris is following along. I think Adam is totally dominant and of course I love that. Not sure, why others say, it is too much Chris. Even in the snippet, I thought it was a lot of Adam, and the whole song is even more so. I think, Chris' voice normally is not ideally suited for this, and both he and the producers made the best of his instrument. Not sure, I enjoy the pop leanings in certain parts of the song as much, but that is my only caveat. At the end it is all rock and Adam wails and rocks like only he can. Had to laugh that he had to end it with the Adam Lambert signature run (BTWB, Satisfaction, PTFM, and tons of live performances, since). It's like a signature stamp for a painter, or something. Gotta go and listen again..... This version seems to be the best: fyeahgleeclub.tumblr.com/post/77600775004/i-believe-in-a-thing-called-love-full-versionLooking forward to seeing it now performed. Great stuff.

I think whatever the reason the song is better in this key -- and they both sound amazing!!

I do like that it is lowered because although Adam could have still belted out the whole thing with very little falsetto if any I think Chris would have sounded like Tiny Tim. To me this sounds much more rock than Justin's original. I never could get in to the original because all I could ever think of was Tiny Tim. Brought me right back to "tiptoe, through the tulips". LOL This, however, rocks out hard IMO.
