PS. Dear Klaine-ers, if any happen by here, I really understand the desire to have complete fidelity and loyalty in the Klaine relationship, especially because gay relationships are so rarely represented on mainstream TV and it is so important to have positive representation. Things like this do matter. I hope things turn out to be even stronger between Kurt and Blaine because of the challenge. Don't hold it against Adam ; ). Thanks!!

A. Full version - THANK YOU. B. Adam-dominant IMO (first verse, all the great "screaming," especially at the end. Growly, too). C. I also really like how Chris sounds In this song - more " welly" than he usually gets to display. D. It is a really good song. What does "welly" mean, please? |

I DIG IT  I've seen some people on Twitter like "where's the high notes?", the answer to that is: Chris + Adam are in fact singing the song note-for-note but it's been transposed down by 5 semitones from F major to C major.
Do you think they did this because Chris wouldn't be able to hit that F major? Nah Chris could definitely do that. The problem would more likely have been Adam having to hit A5's. I mean he hasn't sung that high since Idol but I don't see why he couldn't still do it, so I think it's more of a conscious decision on Glee's part to make it more of a contemporary-sounding pop-rock song sung in "man" registers as opposed to "boy" registers. It's a safer option I think. What are you listening to? Permission to Land is one of my favourite albums.  I had to go back and see what albums the songs I had listened to were from. I liked "Get Your Hands Off My Woman" and "Growing On Me" not as much. "With a Woman" from Hot Cakes is really hot. Still listening. Girlfriend and Givin Up are two faves. |
