I am very interested in the acting scenes in the upcoming Glee episode. I hope we get a scene with Elliot and Rachel. So far it has really just been Elliot and Kurt.

So far it has really just been Elliot and Kurt. And HB has moved at a snail's pace! Q3, I liked Shoshanna's tweets about the acting too. So many people are saying "Oh he is just playing himself!" NO! Give credit where credit is due, Adam is a damn good actor!  |

So far it has really just been Elliot and Kurt. I have been ruminating on the whole Glee chapter based on an earlier post today I believe by Q3. Like everyone, having Adam on my TV screen is the best drug on the market. I have been fascinated by the fact that he is such a natural in the acting scenes and I too am looking forward to this episode which might have more dramatic possibilities if Elliot is indeed in the middle. I think showcasing a flair for acting and his beautiful screen presence is a major major plus from the Glee chapter. The point that was made earlier and caught my attention is something that I find myself reluctantly agreeing with. What was useful about Glee for Adam is drawing to a close. The reluctance comes from the pure pleasure of seeing him in all the facets of his gifts. But Adam is not designed to be a cast member however talented the rest are or popular the program might be. He is too creative, too compelling and too groundbreaking for that kind of venue. And though I desperately want to hear him sing ANYTHING, it is also clear that it is beyond ridiculous to have that voice and that talent continue to be in any way subsidiary and/or shackled by needing to fit into the ensemble. Let me say again, Glee has been nothing short of marvelous but for his forward motion, it is now in the realm of "been there, done that". If I didn't have full belief that what is coming is going to be way more amazing, I could feel sad but I just feel another version of "my change is gonna come" around the corner. The air is different now and the storyline around Adam in the press, the industry etc. is a sea change. We only need the USA to wake up to what we have all witnessed in the years since Idol. There is a handful of things that are on deck to do just that - it started with Glee but now we have Queen, Avici/Nile, A3 and something no, several things big and exciting being hatched that we are clueless about at the moment. I just feel it. |

Adam is in Paris. Beyond being a tourist and taking a break in Paris, what is Adam doing there? ** It is fashion week, RTW Collections but I do not believe that Adam has been spotted at any shows. ** David Guetta was at the Stockholm AVICII concert the same night as Adam (Guetta just released a remix of AVICII's next single "Addicted to You" so it could be a coincidence.) David Guetta tweeted this... Imagine an album that had the Producer of the year on it twice and contributor to record of the year too (Nile) a full year before Get Lucky and RCA had their heads so up their asses, they blew it! Old feelings reopened with that interview! Surprised FURCA. Didn't trend on Twitter this morning!  I take solice if RCA put a little more effort on Tresspassing it might have been a mediocre commercial success. They might have then hung on to him but shelved him ala Jordan Sparks. I don't know how or why RCA and Adam parted but I'm glad they did. They didn't know what to do with him. DMG seems to be doing a great job of keeping Adam in the public eye. I put Glee in that category. It is introducing Adam to a younger group of fans and keeps him in the press while he is off creating. It is a win-win for Adam and Glee. The atmosphere surrounding Adam is so different than anytime in the 5 years I have followed Him. I can't put my finger on it but it feels Adam's time in a way it never did before. I have also noticed comments on articles from Idol fans that somehow abandoned him. They seem hungry for New Adam music. |

They have to make some kind of adjustment because of the lost episodes in the Fall. Some Gleeks were thinking 21 episodes. Of course, "my" Glee season only has 5 episodes. ** Note: I believe that Elliot will return for a guest appearance and there will be 6 Glee episodes with Elliot "Starchild" Gilbert. ** I was pleased with the effort Shosanna made to make it clear that Elliot is NOT Adam. I just feel it. I agree with you. Glee expanded Adam's fan base and was a nice bridge before he starts promoting his new album. It also proved he can act and he can be a musical star. I also fully believe that something big is coming. There has been a lot of focus on Shoshanna's Glee countdown = number of Glee episodes. I think the countdown is to the announcement of whatever the next big thing is. And she has hinted that there is more than Queen coming. We know there is a new album. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 -- ends on 4/1/14. (I damn well hope it is not an April Fool's Joke!  ) Seriously, I figure that all will be revealed soon and that Shoshanna is also excited to be moving on. I may be incorrect in my interpretation of the Glee tweets but she used the word countdown. A countdown usually ends with a "lift off" or a launch.
