Do you expect QAL to tour alone, with an opening act or to split the bill? Queen will tour with Adam Lambert!! So I guess they are technically splitting the bill. They would never list Adam as part of Queen. They have had a ton of opening acts -- here is a list -- I did not check it for accuracy www.joeydevilla.com/2009/03/26/queens-opening-acts/But their concert is an event in itself and long. I would not be surprised if there was use Queen and Adam Lambert. So my money is on Queen + Adam Lambert billing, no supporting act. ** When Queen toured with Paul Rodgers they did both Free and Bad Company covers. I hope this time they include and Adam song. (Although I think Adam now has adopted Dragon Attack.) ** Another big questions, will Elmo be on tour too? And what about black spikey jacket, and what else will he wear?

Q3 - I always appreciate the facts you supply. I found your comment about .fun really interesting. To think .fun was the gateway for QAL to reach all the DJs and Clear Channel brass kind of drives me nuts, but it is what it is. (I still don't care to listen to STL, but it will make it an easier pill to swallow.)
I was just wondering this morning - who do you think was the one to first get the ball rolling for QAL to perform at iHeart? DMG? Adam? Queen? Ryan Seacrest?

I'm going for VIP tickets & expecting to spend a fortune, so I want to be prepared. If I have to use a broker, I will. I know this is all premature right now & I am trying to take Shimoli710's advice & KEEP CALM..... :lol Thanks and yes - try to keep calm Gingerpf (though I have to say, it was @aqueenofmagic's advice in my post. ) I hope you manage to get good tickets *fingers crossed*. And I can imagine your feelings quite well - I still remember how nervous I was trying to get tickets for Queen and Adam show in London and Wroclaw two years ago.

Q3, I know you didn't watch any of the vids so as not to spoil your pleasure last night. Did I miss your reaction to the episode? Check back on Sunday because I wrote a special Adamized review. Glee through the eyes off an Adam fan. But yes, I loved ALL the Adam parts particularly the Adam in cap photo I put in today's banner -- where he looks like he is 21 years old!! I find the show somewhat ridiculous.
Also, I am glad I did not watch the videos in advance. kinda an understatement IMO.... I wonder what is the target audience for GLEE? Prior to watching Elliot episodes I assumed the target was high school crowd. But I am sure that demo has zero interest in the music Glee chooses (I found the trio performance especially idiotic... between the tuxes and the song choice I fully expected a nursing home crowd)..the plot - I can't even start commenting it is so sub-par... so, the ratings are quite understandable...was it better in the first couple of seasons?

That song isn't my cuppa either, but interesting that The Happening video has the most likes and views, and Barracuda, which I think is the best, has the least.

I have not ordered it but did bookmark three links on the matter: ht tp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g481YxsTCF4 (the promo video announcing the following link) www.shadesofelvis.net/ (book site with buying option, both book and prints, and a link to the following) www.blurb.com/b/5104810-shades-of-elvis
Then there was the obscure tweet about 25% off with a code word (?) - I don't know if it was real or fake...
Thanks so much **hugs** Just got back online, I see Belle already answered. The tweet about the discount is still there, so I don't think it's fake. But I am not sure if it's still valid, though. Christopher Ameruoso @chrisaphoto Feb 28 www.ShadesofElvis.net order the book 25% off use code BIG BOOK #adamlambert #celineDion #ScottyMccreery #Eddievanhalen #StevenTyler #Cher
The code "BIG BOOK" should just be "BIGBOOK", no space.

If we are all going to really bash Glee and its stars, should we consider doing that on a members only thread....just wondering... If I were a Glee fan who was newly interested in Adam and went looking for more info on him, I would not be pleased....to say the least....at a fan site that constantly criticized my heros and trashed my show! We have a collective tendency to denigrate anyone who dares to be in the presence of Adam and that cannot go down well with them. Just a thought....

I was just wondering this morning - who do you think was the one to first get the ball rolling for QAL to perform at iHeart? DMG? Adam? Queen? Ryan Seacrest? ??? I tried to find this out and could not find out much. Certainly not Ryan -- he was the host. The iHeartRadio Music Festival was co-produced by John Sykes, President of Entertainment Enterprises for Clear Channel and Tom Poleman, President of National Programming Platforms for Clear Channel Media and Entertainment. The booking were mostly Clear Channel deals made at the highest levels. The idea may have started with DMG since they would have been directly involved with Katy Perry's deal. It may also have originated from Clear Channel because they included classic artists in this concert -- Elton John and Paul McCartney. I am almost certain that Roger and Brian did not originate it. My money is on DMG and maybe Adam "wouldn't it be cool is" Lambert just throwing it out there. Whatever else, it was an unconventional closing act for this concert night 1. Just cause I love this review: www.billboard.com/articles/columns/music-festivals/5719329/iheartradio-music-festival-friday-katy-perry-roars-but-the** Regarding Queen and "the gentlemen of .fun" -- if was kind of a vocal mess IMO but the audience was so into it, the radio "guys" are too young to know Queen and many like Adam but do not consider him a big star but they know .fun. PLUS it really made it clear how great Adam is. I still consider it a stroke of brilliance and luck on many fronts -- maybe every Queen + AL concert should have some other pop star [who about Gaga?] and an old rock great [Steven Tyler?] try to step into Lambert's big boots for one song just as a demonstration. That would make the Queen die hard "Adam's not big/good/great enough" just JTFU. I have read suggestions that Lady Gaga and Steven Tyler would be more legit than Adam. Laughable choices IMHO. Separate from my love of Adam, I can't think of anyone better for this job except if Freddie circa 1977 could return to us. And that is not happening.

We have a collective tendency to denigrate anyone who dares to be in the presence of Adam and that cannot go down well with them. Just a thought.... As long as the critiques remain within Adamtopia guidelines -- expressing the poster's opinion not broad generalizations, respectful, and factually correct, it is OK to be critical.
And since it is OK to critique Adam here, it is OK to critique GLEE or anything else here.*** Regarding worrying about GLEE fans seeing critiques of the show, check out the GLEE forums -- the fans are very open and honest, and the gay GLEE fans seem to know the whole this is just camp. Or look at any other place like MJs and you will see GLEE critiques. I gather that "The Happening" was supposed to be campy which is certainly is.
