Q3 thanks so much for sharing your knowledge of the music industry and insight in the mechanics of touring. I was just wondering what convinced Queen that a tour in the states would be successful. Adam is just starting to become more well known, and if Queens tours here were not that successful before, what makes them think they can sell out big arenas now? I am more than thrilled that this tour is happening but I was just wondering with so much at stake, what convinced them this is a win. Hope I being clear with my question.

I'm going for VIP tickets & expecting to spend a fortune, so I want to be prepared. If I have to use a broker, I will. I know this is all premature right now & I am trying to take Shimoli710's advice & KEEP CALM..... :lol Thanks and yes - try to keep calm Gingerpf (though I have to say, it was @aqueenofmagic's advice in my post. ) I hope you manage to get good tickets *fingers crossed*. And I can imagine your feelings quite well - I still remember how nervous I was trying to get tickets for Queen and Adam show in London and Wroclaw two years ago. Aw Shimoli - thank you for the support! I'm so happy you got to see the London & Wroclaw shows! There was no way I could afford to go overseas then, so I've been praying that they would do a US tour & now I'm about to go CRAZY waiting for the official dates & cities! I NEED TO RELAX!!! i love all the Queen info that Q3 provided! I did not know that Queen opened for Mott the Hoople. I know I must have seen their solo tour, because I was a huge fan, but now I'm wondering if maybe I saw Queen as their opening act & in my drug-infused stupor, I've completely blanked them from my memory? What a horrible thought. I gotta go pull out my old backstage passes & check the dates! In the meantime, I guess I should stop spamming this thread with QAL hysteria. There'll be plenty of that going on tomorrow. Back to Glee!

It's almost Thursday!!! First GMA to get the day started! Wonder if they will show one of their performances, e.g. Something from iHeart? Then it's on to MSG for the official press conference! Finally, they will be interviewed by Ron Bennington on Sirius! for those who don't know who Ron is, he is one half of the Ron and Fez show on Sirius (my son interned with them during college). He has two other shows on Sirius on his own, including the one where he will be interviewing QAL tomorrow evening. He's a comic, used to do stand up, and my son says he is a great interviewer. So I can't wait to hear them on my radio! What a full day! And just think.....this is only the beginning!!

I think this was posted here a while back, but if you are interested in more info about Queen, this is a a very good BBC documentary about Queen from 2011. It covers the history of the band from founding through Freddie's death.

kinda an understatement IMO.... I wonder what is the target audience for GLEE? Prior to watching Elliot episodes I assumed the target was high school crowd. But I am sure that demo has zero interest in the music Glee chooses (I found the trio performance especially idiotic... between the tuxes and the song choice I fully expected a nursing home crowd)..the plot - I can't even start commenting it is so sub-par... so, the ratings are quite understandable...was it better in the first couple of seasons? That song isn't my cuppa either, but interesting that The Happening video has the most likes and views, and Barracuda, which I think is the best, has the least. Go back and watch "The Happening". I think it is getting hits because it is so different and much better than the original. All three are having so much fun with the song it is infectious IMO. Adam and Chris are just brilliant in their characters. Adam has a style of holding the mic and stand that looks very different from Elliott's. I noticed Adam has it in his left hand most of the time. I may personally be responsible for the view count. The main reason it has more hits is most likely Demi. She has a large fan base that was disappointed she wasn't showcased more. This was the only video for them.

Thank you for posting this again! (Maybe I'll just watch it one more time to fill up the hours til tomorrow....)
