19 dates...hmm. More than I thought. 19 dates in a monthlong trek. Ok. What sucks for me is I'm due to go on vacation between June 23-28 at Ocean City Maryland. With my luck the NY date will fall within there. I'm hoping that the tour wrapping up in July in Washington means that NY will be around there towards the end of the tour Side tracking for you As noted, I watched the 2 hr vid last night on QUeen. It was very interesting so here goes 1. I found it intresting that ALL 4 'wrote' or contributed to the music. I didn't know that Roger was so prolific. I loved how they 'fed' off of each other. Tossing out ideas. 2. I thought it funny that Freddie said Brian was the one with the high voice I hear him now and it's not so soprano. 3. I believe Freddie was classically trained. Was any other band member is trained. I know in New York for Broadway shows, basically they are the top musicians as they have to play any genre as opposed to just orchestral. 4. Loved how one of the critics noted that the shows were more theatrical or like a broadway show - maybe that is why I love this group so much 5. Why did John Deacon leave? I was surprised to see David Bowie.. 6. The last few secs when they honored Freddie, George Michael was the singer. DIdn't he perform later w/Queen and if so, why was this union terminated? You mentioned there were other stand in's What happened to those singers now. On a side note.. I recedived a call from a radio talk show host here at work to get our input on a controversial matter that residents were up in arms about. The caller mentioned is was a post-Q102 DJ....... SOOOOOOOOOOOO I asked him about the msuic industry, etc. We discussed several artists (which I won't mention) as I don't want to start a fight) as we all have diffferent likes but he was on the same page as me as far as the music they are playing. I did bring up the old music and "QUEEN"> I talked about how their music is not pop but really orchestral/symphonic pieces. He agreed THen I noted that I heard there might be a qUEEN TOUR THIS SUMMER AND I mentioned that Adam Lambert would be the guest singer. He repled NO! why not Cris COrnell. WHo is Chris Cornell and if he indeed sang w QUeen, why is he still not performing w them? Lastly is there another vid out there regarding the QUeen and devling into the past. I found that video last night was really good but I wanted to hear more.

Since tickets are available through the Live Nation App. Does they mean they are putting up money for the tour? So ...is Ticketmaster the competition for Live Nation? ......in terms of selling tickets.. .......was going to try for a favour ......if so ......maybe s___ out of luck...on that angle. No, Ticketmaster and Live Nation merged to form Live Nation Entertainment in 2011. But some tours/venues tickets are sold on Ticketmaster and some on Live Nation -- two separate ticket systems.

Don't you just love Adam's spoken vocabulary? Did you know that we have a thread just for Adam using great words? I confess I have been neglecting to update it recently. So,I have added "quintessential." Do you have favorites? Please post them, along with a link for reference here: adamtopia.com/post/480075/thread

so I'm late to the party, I was asleep I've seen the list of cities but is there an actual schedule yet? Will all the shows go on sale at the same time? Probably need to wait for press conference :D

Does this mean we need to set up a seperate account with Live Nation. I'm sure they are no better than Ticket Bastard.

I just logged into LiveNation with my TM log in information. Wonder if I need to set up a separate account there. I'll check that out later.

Chris has NOTHING to do with Queen: youtu.be/ltc5EsuyBh4ETA: I am being a bit unfair to the DJ. Chris Cornell is a baritone (like Freddie) with a range that includes high tenor notes. So perhaps that is what made this moron guy mention him. Stylistically, he has nothing to do with Queen. I think Chris is most famous as the songwriter of David Cook's "Light On" and for originating the "Billie Jean" arrangement that David Cook used on Idol.
