Long story but I only got to watch iheart about 6 weeks ago. I had the fortune to watch it without any opinions influencing my experience. I have watched it at least once a day since. I have also spent the last couple of weeks listening to just about everyone who has filled in for Queen or mentioned as a possible front man.
Observations (I would love reactions from people who know Queen better than I do)
1). Brian has fun playing with Adam. Adam likes to play on stage dragging Brian down the cat walk. I have not seen videos of Brian doing this with anyone else.
2). Brian is as good as he has ever been if not better.
3). Nate joining at iheart was pivotal to the audience. It was clear he was the guest and Adam was family. The audience seemed to miss Adam when he left the stage. The audience then realized they were witnessing something special IMO.
4). Brian and Roger touch Adam A LOT. I haven't seen this with others.
5). I really like the tone of Paul Rogers voice and I understand why Brian and Roger chose to work with him. The sound was good but the energy was missing. I found myself missing the interaction with John Deacon and Brian.
6). I remember watching George Michael with Queen many years ago. Rewatching it isn't as wonderful as my memory
7). Even people with great voices don't always sound good doing Queen or are too much about themselves. Google the YouTube of Elton John with Axl Rose with Queen. A huge mess IMO. As Simon would say, "Self indulgent rubbish"
8). Marc Martel has the same tone as Freddie but everything seems to be an impersonation of Freddie down to the 3/4 mic stand. The AI performance with Brian and Roger at the end felt awkward.
9). Roger has a beautiful voice. I hope we hear more of it on tour.
10). Best fit I heard was David Bowie and Annie Lennox. Amazing performance. They only did Under Pressure but I have no doubt Bowie could have been a great frontman for Queen.
11). There were many article rumors the month before the EMA's that GaGa had an upcoming performance with Queen. Adam was quoted as saying Brian and Roger called him about performing with them a couple of weeks before the EMA's. Were they supposed to perform with Gaga and something didn't work out?
12). Roger seems to really enjoy performing and mentoring his son, Rufus. Might this add to Roger's desires for a tour?
13). Many articles prior to 2009 Brian commented they get offers to perform all the time but they don't have a singer. When asked about touring with various people Brian commented that not everyone was stable enough to want to do a tour with. He didn't say who but I got the feeling that was George Michael
14). I think Queen has more to lose than Adam. They are rock royalty and will be remembered as an iconic band. A failed tour could tarnish that reputation. The Soniaphere cancellation is proof that there are people quick to throw negative comments their way. Adam is young enough to reincarnate his career if things don't go as planned (I don't expect this just being a realist)
15). Adam commented they don't feel an age difference on stage. The videos confirm that.
Summary: Queen have sung with a lot of people since Freddie's death and Adam is the first to capture the magic - The Total Package. Brian and Roger are creative people that want to make music, are still capable of making good music and have someone who shares their love of entertaining. I'm thrilled they are willing to share the experience with us.

11) If I remember correctly, Brian did something with GaGa the August proceeding the EMAs - a special appearance on one of her songs someplace I think. That may have been what fueled the Queen-GaGa rumors for the EMAs.
