I did THE VERY SAME THING!! but I purchased TWO extra tickets!! Almost had a heart attack when I got the order invoice! On hold forever to get the extras taken off but not sure which two they DID remove...ugh! I think I ended up with Right Center row Y seats 28 and 30. Not bad I guess...pretty pricey tho don't you think?

Cool! I'll be able to throw something at you! (I'm kidding...I lost grip of my glowstick at an outdoor concert during GlamNation and beamed someone right in the head - my daughter was mortified! lol!) |

My daughter started trying at 10:00 for the CT on Amex presale but kept getting that message about heavy volume. Some finally showed up about 1:00 but we weren't fast enough or only 1 or 2 tix. About 1:45 we gave up and went to StubHub. We found some finally but not exactly what I wanted. They weren't even that bad in price. Funny thing is the same seats on the other side of the aisle were selling for double what we paid. Same view, same everything...LOL. Hope everyone got something.    |

So excited. Got tickets to Las Vegas Show for July 6, section 102, row J. I have no idea if these are good seats or not. Does anyone know? I've never been to the Hard Rock. May need help breathing until July. Got the tix thru Amex presale and it was pretty easy but it did look like they were selling quickly.

Holy f**k! Glad that is over with.
To recap my ticket buying horrors:
I somehow ended up buying 9 tickets instead of 8! I swear there is one ticket I don't remember seeing, let alone buying! But it was a decent one so I called ticketbastard and got a refund on one ticket (less service fees of course). I didn't want to risk having the whole order cancelled for going over the limit.
Never did get the tickets I was trying for - level one on the side - settled for singles, 4 on the floor, 3 level one but near the end, just off floor and one level two. What I don't get is the last two tickets I bought two hours after I started were better than any of the others! I swear Ticketbastard puts the worst tickets out first knowing the crazies (looking in the mirror) will snatch up whatever the can get in the beginning. I only needed 4 tickets but should be able to get rid of the extras to friends.
Oh yeah, also had a little flood in the basement yesterday and I was more concerned about the insurance guy showing up at 10 am and disturbing my ticket buying than I was about the water in the basement. #priorities
Now I need to reschedule my vacation that I planned, of course the same week as the concert.
So is there a smiley for "happy but exhausted"?

Funny enough ...the first code I had to enter to get tickets was "HOORAY HENRY"
That had to be a sign!!! Close enough spelling to his fav bar!

I got tickets at mwp right center bb-ff row ee are these good ? I couldn't read the seating chart We might be beside each other! I'm also center right EE. Seats 8 & 10. |

All this excitement got into me, and now I'm so frustrated lol! I was never an ALF member because there was really no reason, so I tried to join a couple of days ago, for the pre-sale, and it wouldn't let me! Then someone posted that United Center gives a pre-sale password for people who sign up for their newsletter, so I did, and did I get a password? - NO!! My AmEx gives the local benefits obviously, not the North American ones, so in conclusion - I'm left with no access to the pre-sale, and by Friday I'm certain there'll be nothing left lol... Not to mention something reasonably priced. The one and only concert we'll be able to go to (me and my friend) is the Chicago one, and our coveted area is the floor, as close to the stage as possible. I hope they are standing areas, I can't tell from this: 
I don't know if they're supposed to be the priciest areas, I feel like there's a cultural gap between the US and here, and I don't quite understand how it works in the US.
