The craziest part of my ticket buying experience, which was, by the way, exactly like the Big Bang Theory's comicon skit, was that when I first tried to log on to ticketmaster for Edmonton, at 10 am. Nothing happened, I was screaming "refresh, refresh!
My girlfriend was on the speaker phone also trying for me.
"I'M IN" she yells. "What do you want," she hollers.
"You go for 1rst level and I'll go for Ultimate VIP." But when I hit the Ultimate VIP, It said there was NOTHING. So I tried VIP2. I got 5th row, floor, 41 and 42. "
"Should I TAKE IT," I YELLS.
"NO" SHE SAID, "TRY AGAIN.
So I throw them back and get 7th row. crap, I throw those back and up comes 5th row again,
"I'M TAKING THEM", I YELL.
"I GOT 4 tickets IN SEC 136, 1-4." she shouts.
"TAKE 'EM" I YELL.
"GOT 'EM! SHE Shouts. then she says "OMG, I just got row 2, center should I grab them??"
"well I already got 5 row. I don't know."
"30 sec she says. 15 secs!!!"
"No, let em go."
She lets them go and they come back! I said here let me try, throw em back. She did, and THEY COME UP ON MY SCREEN,
"THAT'S IT!!" I GRABBED THEM TOO.
So in the end after all that screaming, yelling and hollering, I have two tickets for myself and the hubby, in 2nd row. and I gave the 5th row to my mom and sister. The 4 together in 136 went to my Son, daughter and their spouses. A lot of money bit the dust today but worth every cent! Haha.
Tomorrow, its Amex presale and Vancouver is the mission!!
Question to the Vancouverites out there. How do the seat numbers work in level 1. What are considered to be the preferred seat in the 100's. for instance 118? 110?
Ok I am off to bed. I am literally exhausted from the stress! LOL
OMG, TOO FUNNY!!! So glad you got SO MANY tickets for your whole family!!!
