Greetings Adamtopia,
Guess who got drawn out of deep cyberspace for the Queen + Adam Lambert tour after a long hiatus? A tiny humanoid alien wearing a giant feathered chapeau. I think there might be some who remember me (i hope.) I too shared the ticket buying trauma. Just as I was waiting for my ticket purchase to be confirmed, TicketMonster kicked me out and I had to begin again. Merde! Second time, Success! But wait -- what's this second charge on my credit card? Seems the first purchase went through and now I have two pairs of VIP tickets to Chicago. So I have available: Section 109, Row 6, Seats 20 and 21. Cost is $175 per ticket, plus $6.25 handling charge for a total of $356.25, what it cost me to purchase the tickets. If any one is interested, please PM me.
Lovely to see you all again. Real life is a cruel master but lurking is a fine art that I have been perfecting.
Hugs! GLASSKAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMM!!!!

Compared to what some of you have experienced, I had a fairly easy ticket-buying day. I suppose because I was looking for just one ticket for one venue. I logged onto Ticketmaster today at 10:00 to buy a ticket for United Center Chicago. I tried the fan club code, but got a message of "High Demand, No Matches". So then, I tried the American Express route. No luck, except for VIP. I got a message that I could use my Amex points, which made me more comfortable with a $400 Diamond VIP package. So I bit, and bought it. But then at check-out, when I tried to use my points (I had enough to cover this), the Ticketman wouldn't let me use my points! I bought the package anyway, and am now trying to see if Amex can reverse the charge and use points instead. My seat is in Section 1, Row 5, right near the catwalk. So I am happy with where I will be seated. Congrats !!!

Fuckitall.... I've been hanging out in the ticket-buying thread all day thinking it was the main news thread because they both are filled with ticket info and ticket angst and ticket exchanges...

Vegas, while they are not officially calling it sold out, has no tickets for sale. 8K gone by by and was sold out I would guess no later than 11am. Any other venue close? No but Vegas starting selling on Thursday and is by far the smallest venue. They have not released most of the tickets in the other venues.

If you are looking for LV tickets, talk to theosgma. Ah thanks Dancy, I was able to get what I wanted but just enjoyed seeing them sell so fast!!! i could have gotten the vip gold thingy but 500 was more than I was willing to tell DH about!! Balcony both nights, front row first night and row f second night. i still might buy Ga just because I want to experience what it is like and keep Balcony so i can shoot upstairs if I need to! Never know when it will be the last time for a concert!

Not all tickets will have been offered during presale so none of the venues will be sold out at this point. There will still be tickets released for the general sale. Not likely to be much for Vegas in the public sale. All that they have left is a few rows in the middle section and sides of the floor, and the back of the floor. Rest is sold out. *** I have banned myself from looking at Ticketmaster any more. I just upgraded the only reasonable tickets I bought.

I will not be denied when the A3 tour occurs!!!!!! Have fun, y'all. Awww.... I'm sorry that things are such you can't make it. Look inside that carpetbag you're absconding with and help yerself to the libation of your choice. Sorry for stealing the bag - that's my grumpy self seeking solace - thank you for the hug - self-pity sucks (big sigh) and I will LOVE the videos I know I will have for a solid month...... but, dammit, Adam, get cracking on new music!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
