Mohegan Sun is different -- there are 7 venues that have presale differences. There are multiple concert managers. The Ticketmaster Arenas, Wells Fargo, Montreal, Houston all had much better tickets in the fan presale than AMEX presale. Mohegan Sun is a ticketmaster arena. All their sales have been thru TM. Oh, I was trying not to list all the concerts. I have found several shows that are managing the presales differently - Wells Fargo, Montreal, Mohegan Sun, Las Vegas (2 shows), Columbia (MD).

Well the material is up his alley but it is usually a pretty long set with some tough songs. And there's a difference trying to connect/reach/front a band for 2,000-3,000 vs 350,000 (or even 20,000) The sets are also much bigger and therefore more physically demanding. The press tends to be bigger and tougher on these tours. AND you have a fanbase that has to be won over. So I definitely didn't see it as Paul questioning Adam's singing. It was more just saying it is a tough gig for the vocal chords and for physical conditioning in general as well as mentally. I agree on press and fanbase. I don't understand the "bigger set" part - more walking around?, and the audience size of 20K wasn't so much news to Adam, 350K WAS of course. That aside, I still feel PR's comment was a poorly veiled put down. I am obviously overly invested and as a result over sensitive... : On another subject: do you think we'll have a nice length Brian guitar solo? and I mean instrumental solo, with no singing? I am looking forward to that almost as much as to hearing Adam singing... I was at Hammersmith Apollo and Brian had a long guitar solo. I liked it very much but my niece was waiting for Adam and I have to say that I had an impression that the whole audience was waiting for Adam

The Mohegan Sun tickets must be locked up for casino VIPs. :(
(Once again I wish I was a casino VIP.)

As far as I can tell there are a few certain things about the Queen + Adam Tour...
1. Adam will have a long cat walk to play on!! 1a. There will be pyro and smoke and flashing lights. 1b. Adam will be in his natural habitat and eco system.
2. Brian will do 1 or 2 guitar solos, Roger will have a drum solo, and there will be a drum duel.
3. Brian will sing a song for Freddie, probably "Love of My Life" -- hopefully this will be the audience sing alone version.
4. I will cry when #3 happens.
5. They will do all the big hits.
6. The concert will end with God Save the Queen.

No lip-synching and other thing like that and real guitar music!

What is the trick these scalpers use to grab these blocks of tickets we need to know this so we can get great tickets for ATOPS without paying inflated prices.
Question do the prices drop on stubhub as the concert dates get closer?

exactly what I was thinking. Adam was a professional theater actor for 10 years prior to idol. He knows all about grueling schedules and working his ass off. Adam did 117 shows during Glam Nation without even a rescheduling of any concerts! He was in charge of everything, did 100% of the singing, with no one else to come out and sing a few songs for a vocal break. And he knows how to take care of his voice! Been doing it since he was 10! He will be fine! Of course!!! He will be perfect:))) Personally, I have no problem when people question Adam's ability to pull off this or that, but only if that questioning is informed and well-meant. When it's 'bitchy' (and the PR comment was exactly that), I find it despicable. It's not nice, is it, to not support a colleague, to talk about him without knowing his previous work, to not keep some less flattering opinions to yourself at least before such major event in his career... Isn't it ridiculous to wonder if Adam could pull off a demanding schedule or stage or whatever, and not wonder the same about Brian and Roger, who are, although experienced, so much older? I am cringing at my own words as I'm writing, because they're rude and I'm using them just to illustrate a point, sorry. Why would anyone question their mental stability to make such decisions for themselves, isn't it logical to assume that every person taking part in QAL would know best whether they can pull it off or not... That must be another rhetorical device: the envy, or jealousy, or good old shallowness, veiled as worry or genuine concern... I can't wait to hear the concerts via live streams, because I feel like the more shows they did together, the more confident and relaxed Adam became. After such a success of their last performance, especially after such high public praise which must have meant a lot to them, I am so eager to see Adam shine and top that. Bearing in mind his beautiful voice (and his hot sexy self), amazing band and their undeniable chemistry, great songs and staging, the promises these concerts make are more than alluring to any true music lover and concert goer, and will surely be kept and most probably exceeded.
