Q3 - Just for the record, I'd love to see Paul come back for that one night and jam with QAL. I mean I feel Queen fans owe him a debt since his singing was able to get the Queen engine rolling again for four years! The QPR show I went to was the best show I'd ever seen! And I think he gets too much flak at times. He did a good job with some great moments during the gigs...and I LOVED hearing Brian and Roger's work to beef up some of the Bad Company tracks like Feel Like Makin' Love. BUT I don't think it will happen. Fun to speculate about. There was a recent interview with Paul (posted on Brian's site) where he talked about his time with Queen and he made it clear that his time there had come to an end and though he had in the past made comments that he may do it again, I don't think he'd do it now. He did say he was happy to see the big Queen machine rolling again. I have the DVD and sorry, didn't like it at all

Not sure if Adam is filming today. Lea Michele @msleamichele 17m What's up New York City! So excited to be back in NYC but this time to shoot #Glee! #RachelintheCity #GleeInNYCAdam referred to working on Glee "last year" in a couple Q+AL interviews. I think that he may be done with Glee and all we have left is the 4/1/14 episode they have already completed. It is possible that Elliott "Starchild" Gilbert returns for another appearance. Guest stars often pop back into the storyline again. ** For 5x14 -- airs in North American on 4/1/14 Elliot and Kurt will preform "Rockstar". So perhaps Elliott will get picked to be front man for a famous rockband! Somehow, they need a plot turn that results in Elliott move out and leaving his apartment to Leah.

Presale ends FRIDAY, March 14th at 10:00pm. ETA: These codes, the Queen Facebook code and the American Express presale result in mediocre tickets. ]I didn't realize that Paul had sung as frontman for Queen for so long.....Although I'm not too interested in seeing Paul share the stage with Adam, I can see where this type of "duel" may prove interesting. Not that the two singers would duel it out but the fans would certainly go there. They both (Adam, Paul) bring such different elements to the equation. Personally, I think that anyone chosen to sing along brings their own interpretation and as a fan I may prefer one over the other but I still fail to see it as a competition. I was happy to read that Paul was gracious in his comments towards the tour. I think the big difference is that Queen nor Adam are looking for anything close to a 4-year commitment - the times they are a changin'. I'm glad I get the opportunity to see a show - it's been a long time. Oh they weren't *LOOKING* for a 4 year commitment with Paul either. It was organic. They played at a Hall of Fame Induction and decided to see what would happen. They toured the Europe (and 2 dates in the US and 6 in Japan) in 2005, decided to bring the tour to North American in 2006, then proceeded to do a studio album which was released in 2008 and they toured Europe and South America one last time in 2008 before going their separate ways in 2009. In 2007 Paul snuck in a solo tour and a few gigs with his old band. I could see something similar with Adam, perhaps even longer simply because it'd be more hit and run with Adam doing his thing. I would not be surprised at all if we looked back much later on in the decade and see that they did the EMA thing in 2011, did a brief tour of Europe/UK in 2012, the iheart in 2013 a full NA tour in 2014, Adam releases A3 and does an A3 tour, then maybe works with Queen again on a European or South American Tour sometime late in 2015 or early 2016 if they still like each other an album in later 2016, early 2017 or so. See because to me it's similar to Paul. They start small. They do a bigger tour and find out if they still like each other and after that they conquered the tour thing. After that, an album of studio material would be the next challenge and I wouldn't be surprised that after A3 or what not that he wouldn't want to work in the studio with Brian and Roger and learn their studio techniques... I sure learn a lot of history lurking here! Didn't realize that the Paul thing grew as it did -- I do see a similar pattern now that it has been addressed. I sort of see Adam wanting to work with Brian and Roger in studio -- just for the pure experience of it. I would hope if this would happen that it would be a true collaboration where each person's aesthetic is apparent -- sort of like CSNY's Four Way Street.

OMG, I've always wondered where Adam gets his southern twang on occasion. He seems to go there quite often. I had no idea it had been "labeled" so perfectly. Too funny.

If you are looking for expensive but great tickets for Chicago. I stumbled on a great set of tickets on Stub Hub
Floor 5 (center, back section -- no seats in front of this -- the catwalk is in from of this section.
Two listings Row 1| Qty1-9 $399, and Qtyl 1-3 $376.
This is a pricing mistake by the ticket owmers IMO.
ETA: Based on SandySVA's comment, these are very good seats at a decent price -- there is the end of the catwalk, 8 rows of section 2, then the aisle, and then section 5. The seats in the last row of Section 2 are very expensive everywhere. $1,000+
SandySVA's comment was a good reminder to be really careful with the floor seat purchases. There is an angled catwalk on this set and the ticket resellers (and some of the venue maps) so not include it. For example, it is not on the Wells Fargo map.
They are not using the catwalk in Las Vegas.

I had my tongue squarely in my cheek! Seriously, I compared Tommy Joe to Jimi Hendrix and Brian May. LOL That's what I get for skimming/scrolling at times I did find that last part a bit odd but not worth picking a battle for Gotcha - agreed. He *IS* an old school blues ROCKER belting though the 2 are aa bit different! Well it's kind of a yes and no answer. I think Brian and Roger were always willing to go out on tour but had their dreaded "singer" problem. So when Paul sang with them it inspired them to go ahead and take the plunge into a tour. So it might have happened with someone else (and almost did with Robbie Williams) but Paul fit enough of B&R's criteria to push the button with. Oh they are definitely different experiences. QAL is obviously meant to be more of a tribute to the glory days of Queen. QPR was more of an attempt to merge the two different styles of Queen and Paul Rodgers blues rock. I think that I can take them separately enough to like both concerts on a separate but equal basis! One thing I will give Adam is that Adam gives them room to pick almost any song from the catalogue whereas they were a bit more limited with Paul. Well I have heard Adam live once - I did see him on his GNT. It was a fun gig overall though I was *NOT* a fan of his band which was pretty limited from what I heard...and...I'm not a fan of *all* the solo material BUT I am looking forward to a show where I know I'll love 99% of the material and can judge him better. I have the DVD and sorry, didn't like it at all To each their own! I thought Paul did a great job on I Want To Break Free, The Show Must Go On, I Want It All, and some other numbers. I bet that would happen. QPR's The Cosmos Rocks album main criticisms from Queen fans was that it sounded too much like a Paul Rodgers type album. Queen tend to write for the voice. Look at Kerry Ellis' single The Kissing Me Song - it's very steered towards her voice.
