Adam Lambert Reveals he Is Already Working On His Upcoming Album

The ex-”American Idol” idol has been hearing the restless rumblings from all his die-hard fans, and went on Twitter this week to assuage their worries. Seeing one fan had tweeted out: “Can u please release ur new album soon i need more songs to listen to!!!” Adam instantly blasted out this reply: “I’m working on it!! Believe me!!!” Adam’s been in and out of the studio all year, trying to record new tracks for his follow-up LP to “Trespassing,” which was released back in 2012. He’s also been busy fending off fanatical Queen fans, who don’t think Adam should be fronting the legendary Brit rock band when they tour North America this summer. Queen with Adam at the mic will hit America in June and July for 19 shows. And hearing some of the band’s fans aren’t happy campers to hear who’ll be taking the late Freddie Mercury’s space in the spotlight, original Queen guitarist Brian May decided to step up and defend Adam. Brian explained that there are always going to be parts of the band’s audience who don’t want to see anybody singing “We Will Rock You” but Mercury. He said: “If you concentrate on the negative, you’re not going to get anywhere. It’s very important to have your focus, and you play to people who want to hear us.” And what does Brian May say to anybody who doesn’t want to hear Adam’s golden throat fronting Queen? “Anyone who doesn’t want to hear us?” Brian replied. “Thanks, goodbye. No problem!” |
