Oh and I am definitely going to try for Vancouver tomorrow. Otherwise I have scouted out a set of tickets on stubhub that have me intrigued. So fingers crossed. I will be putting in a lot of time to pay these puppies off. hahaha

Someone posted this video yesterday. I was touched by Brian's story of his Dad at Queen's first concert at MSG. No wonder Brain wants to play at MSG again! The story starts at 22:50. The video dancygeorgia posted above is really great. I am only half way to it and I am really enjoying it. You could tell why Brian and Roger get along with Adam so well. They share a lot in common even when they were young. |

Related/unrelated: There is a new guy on a local HAC radio morning team. He joins a fellow announcer (woman) who has been on the show for a number of years. The guy was being silly when commenting about celebrities who have assistants following them around 24/7 with drinks on demand. He decided to pretend he was one of those hollywood assistants and put on a gay speech pattern (lisp , etc.). My eyebrows raised. Then his partner started lightly shaming him for that. BUT he said "I can do that 'cuz I'm gay. You can't." It turned into a bit of silliness, laughing, teasing, as is always a part of the show. She obviously knew he is gay.
I saw it as a sign of progress. The new guy is openly gay on the air.
