Interested in 2 tics to Merriweather. Anyone know which seats are under the roof? Do not want to be out in the open if it rains- a distinct possibility for DC in July. I am also going to the Toronto concert. Was able to get 2 tickets in Sec. 104 using the presale code. Would like to get closer on the sides, if possible. Have not seen any posts from Atoppers attending the Toronto concert. Maybe someone has tickets to sell?????????? I have 1 Pavillion Seat for Merriweather left if you can't find 2 together and need another. The extra tickets a friend has that Smokyvera mentions above are 3 in the upper level of MSG. I also have a VIP Loft ticket for the Sunday Las Vegas show, center section, 2nd row.

According to the interactive seat map for the LA show, they have the following seats left (unless they are still holding some back) Floor - 3 general sales, 38 AmEx Lower Lever - 9 general sales, 27 AmEx Upper Lever - still a good number of general sales & AmEx tickets For the CT show, only single tickets come up on searches for best available, nothing under 2 or more seats together. Except for the Platinum seats sold in sets of 2. LA may be holding back some for the general public sale that starts tomorrow.

I've been checking Mohegan too. They have shown different things each time. This time they had some in section 15 which is where I originally wanted. But we bought thru stubhub the first presale day since we had tried for 4 hours and got nothing for 4. We are section 19 row R. Not the best but straight on view and should be good sound. We just downloaded the tickets and I am so excited!!! YAY We were lucky and got the tickets at a reasonable price...so I decided to stay at the hotel...$$$$ but you don't even have to leave the hotel to get to the arena. I 'm getting there on the 18th. I hope we can set up a meet so I can finally get to see some of you. Talon keep trying...there are tickets but they are releasing in spurts but ticketmaster did warn they're almost gone. The hotel did not have any room/ticket combos. Well, on my way to KY to visit my Sis.

I only wanted to try once myself I was going to see if I could get 5 together for me and my family. 5 isn't going to happen it looks like. I'm okay with 2, 2, and 1

I'm sure I'll buy earplugs this time around. I was unhappy with the volume at GNT. It all begs the question: Why should a person need earplugs to hear music at a concert. Why don't they just turn everything to a lower volume? Really!? [snicker] Because if your bones aren't vibrating what's the point? In the GNT concerts, I was fine with the loudness of Adam's part of the show. It was the loudness of the warm-up acts that got to me. In my first GNT, durning Orinathi's set, the vibrations in my chest were so heavy that I thought I was going to have a heart attack! I had to go out and sit in the lobby for the rest of her set. My 3 friends came with me as they could not stand it either. Plus I could only make out 2 words Orinathi was singing, and that only because I had heard her sing the song on TV. During Alison's set, I could only make out about 10% of her words. But no problem making out most of Adam's words!

From twitter: Somebody just got 2 tix to Mohegan (not the priciest ones), others keep getting 'none'. Keep trying! ETA In general, I don't understand why don't the venues use the interactive seat maps. The buyer could get an idea what's available and make a decision, then just buy. Much less hassle and clicking. Because during periods of heavy sales, the interactive maps cannot keep up with the rate of sales. By the time the buyer selects seats from the interactive map, many of the seats on the map will have already been sold. If the buyer chooses seats that have just been sold since the map was displayed, then the buyer has to pick again. All of this just slows the system down for all buyers and it is slow enough during the heavy sales periods.

We went to see Adam on the Idol tour at the Greensboro Coliseum capacity 23,500 (Wiki says). All but the very upper decks were filled. We were directly across from the stage but as far away as possible. The man in front of me had 4 boys about 10 up. Right before Adam came out, he had the boys but in earplugs and I wondered why until the big A showed on screen. The noise level was unbelievable. I instantly put my fingers in my ears and so did granddaughter. It was deafening! The only thing I can equate it to was the sound my husband's fighter jet made on takeoff. I am so happy to hear about the ear plugs...will get some right away. I expect the sound to be extremely loud. Not just from the music but from the screaming (mine included).
