Yes that is really funny. but for out of towners like me ,what do I know I have 4 seats in center Q.. I hope I like Merriweather.. Have you been thereC.C.C.C?? Yes! Worked at PaineWebber right across the street. One warning about Columbia, everything is sort of hidden down in the parks and trails. Best to park across the street at the Mall and walk across Little Patuxent Pkwy to the Pavillion. I saw a few concerts there but I was younger and broker and never got great seats. I was inside the Pavillion for Joni Mitchell, CSNY and Willie Nelson (Blue Skies). The sound is good under the roof. If you are on the lawn, you really can't see a thing. Someone up the thread nailed it on the head with their various lawn experiences. I have to tell you I was really surprised when I heard they were playing at Merriweather. It always seemed a little rustic and quaint to me. It's been years since I've been there so maybe things are different. Although, when I looked at recent pics to see what had changed, everything looked pretty much the same. Thanks for that parking information... My husband has back problems and walking over hills and valleys LOL isn't his strong suit.As long as the sound is good and we can see the stage,I will be happy. Our tickets are in Center Q101-104,I hope those are good seats,I'm only 5'1 so I'm hoping Q101 is an aisle seat.

Merriweather starts at 6:30 pm, so it will be daylight and the concert will be over before the surrounding neighborhood wants to go to bed and complain about noise levels. It also means that I think this concert will have a very different atmosphere than others.
1. We probably will not get the same light show for obvious reasons. 2. It will be the last concert (assuming they do not add dates at the end for SE of US) and concert will be over at an hour that allows the post concert party to continue in surrounding bars/hotels/restaurants,,,whatever Glamberts will take over. 3. Adam will not have to watch his voice and will give it his ALL.
It should be great, assuming people adjust to this more casual surroundings there.

I thought I saw somewhere where 6:30 is when the grounds open, but don't know for sure. Thought with 4+ months til the event, I would have time to get it right...

Oh my, this thread is making me all verklempt and blubbery today. These concerts are actually going to sell out, probably every one of them. OMG! I will never doubt again. I really didn't think this could happen. Thought they would do well but to sell out this early -- oh my!! I am so happy for Adam, Brian, Roger, all of them that I can't even..... I never post, just lurk every day since day-one but today I just couldn't not be here to say Eeeeeeeeek! and Sqeeeeee. And all you really cool people here are getting great tickets and are so beautifully willing to share your good fortune with others, helping them, selling your extra tickets at face value, and being so incredibly supportive of everyone. A beautiful thing. And Q3, you are an absolute marvel!!!!! I've watched you over this week put out all this info, facts and figures, suggestions, helping each person who needs it. I am amazed. You are the beacon of light for all of us in this often confusing, overwhelming process. I am filled with gratitude for this wonderful place and all who participate here. Happy concert going to all of you. Above lurker forced this lurker out of lurkdom to say DITTO to everything you so beautifully stated. Ah...gratitude.

Pretty sure 6:30 is the door open time NOT concert start time. Concert will probably still start around 8pm. Maybe if there is a noise curfew it might start at 7:30 but door opening is usually at least an hour before concert time.

Adam Lambert News @al_Examiner Adam Lambert teases mind-blowing new music exm.nr/1d6movX Adam Lambert has been busy recording music for his third album and he couldn’t control his excitement this morning (March 15) so he tweeted to fans. He shared, “Yes! My new music is gonna blow your minds!!! Killin the Studio!!!” Not much has been leaked about the new music. For his last two albums, producers and writers tweeted a lot about working with Adam, giving some hints. But this time around mum, has been the word. He seems to be recording a lot in Sweden, but that’s about all we know. Last night he was spotted partying at WONK Stockholm, so we know he is still there. Releasing an album in the next few months will be key for Adam, who will be getting great exposure to new fans while touring with Queen. Are you excited for the new music?
