Maybe Adam won't have time to rest his voice on tour with constant radio or TV promotion? I don't care about the timing as long as his first single has a hook. I personally love all the songs that he's written or co-written (except Aftermath maybe) but I think he's awesome on verses and bridges, not as good on hooks or choruses. He said about LMD that Nile already had the chorus down. Adam's lyrics are sometimes wordy and convoluted. That said, maybe with some Swedish hookmeisters, it'll tweak what Adam's already good at. A good song is a good song.

Nate Ruess writes good hooks. Brian May mentioned that at iheart. Doesn't mean he's the best songwriter. Adam Levine writes good hooks, so does Bruno Mars. Somebody give Adam a great hook!

I think it's fascinating that Pharrell played his Adam songs for Daft Punk when Adam said he rethought his album when he was at Burning Man and remembering how much he loves Daft Punk. Adam's musical instincts seem spot on; now it's just about the right timing (and good label and management)

And I very much appreciate all the Queen info and links and Talon's Queen thread. I kind of feel bad that I only have 51 tracks from the Queen platinum collection. I like buying albums normally and feel I've messed up hearing the albums as they were originally intended.

About going to MSG, my DH said "I'll tolerate Adam's caterwauling so I can listen to Brian's guitar" lol. Then again, his favorite AI track was RoF, so some caterwauling is ok I guess. He went to Glam Nation at Nokia with me and his main comment (sorry, said this before) was that the stairs in the set looked like cheap pool stairs and whatever happens to Adam's career, he belongs in stadiums with an expensive set. Cue less than five years later...

OT: anyone else think that Aloe Blacc's "The Man" sounds a lot like Elton John? Maybe "Your Song"?

It is just happenstance. (Unless the Universe is playing games!)

I wanted a short online ID, Q is an unusual letter so that it is often available online. It is also the first letter on the keyboard. 3 is my fav number and my lucky number.

The side benefit is that it is hard to find Q3 on Google because it is also commonly used for Quarter 3 (financial) and 3rd Quarter (sports).

I set it up planning to stay in a corner of Adam fandom.

Regarding Queen -- there is no connection. I was a Queen fan in the 70's but moved on to new wave and punk, and more stripped metal, around 1980. My last Queen concert was in 1980 until Adam.

So I am one Queen fan that returned because of Adam. I am not alone.
