They aired part (or was it that short so it could be all?) of Ryan's interview with their own introduction in Finnish. Best to read today's thread, it's only 3 pages and it's all explained. Really rude Really? I'm sorry if you feel like that. I replied to your question. If I were rude I would just have said 'read the thread'. To me there's a difference.

Reading today's thread raised this question in my mind:
Would the tour continue to be promoted if it is sold out? For instance MSG is "sold out" - does it mean the NY Metro area promo is not going to happen any more? It makes sense to stop as there is no "payback" to be had, but from my POV- the one where Adam's visibility is the ultimate goal - the sell out becomes a double edge sword...
What do you think?

I don't remember Brian May and Roger Taylor promoting "Queen Extravaganza" on American Idol 2 years ago. Maybe they will do this again this year?
Published on Apr 28, 2012 Marc Martel, Jennifer Espinoza and the rest of Queen Extravaganza performing Somebody to Love with Brian May and Roger Taylor.

so.. on last night's thread there was a discussion about Iheart and this Queen/Lambert tour being part of a master plan to launch Adam into pop stratosphere.
Now, here we have the Glee sideline happening where we see Adam first as the Glam Rock over the top costumed makeup outrageous stage antic theatre guy that the mass public viewed him as transformed into the man we see today, the man going on tour with Queen.. cool and calm, confident in stature, grounded, no makeup, accepted facial hair, etc.
When Adam said "Hold on Glamberts, 2014 is going to be MAJOR" there appears to be a LOT of planning and wooing and staging and plotting going on behind the scenes that is tying ALL this together for...
A3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
.. and dare I say the "reservedness of twitter is also tied into this new packaged plan?" I just finished reading yesterday's thread and I wanted to say that I'm in the group of you who think Adam's presence on Twitter is notably different. I couldn't figure out why exactly, though. So it occured to me that it was also part of the master plan (duh:) and, lo and behold, I come to today's thread and see that I'm not the only one. *Waves to Sandy:) I think plenty could be said on that topic, but I also think it's a delicate matter, since there are Adam's fans who liked that emotional connection with him obtained through Twitter, therefore it would be better not to say anything. On another note, I liked what Darren said, that's how I understood it, that he wished there was more of Adam on Glee, "but he's got to go be a pop star". So, imo, there probably would be more of him if he wasn't so busy. These words just reflect this change I feel, that Adam's the one being sought after, more than him seeking engagements. Just a feeling. Also, I agree with Sandy that his Glee role kind of gave us an abridged edition of Adam's history:)

It is mid March. Why would an April or May single be impossible? The first single is 100% digital. Gets sent to iTunes & radio. That's it. Not capitalizing on Glee buzz and Queen buzz would have me seriously side eyeing DMG! I don't think the new single will be before Queenbert (doesn't he have to kinda promote it? Do a radio tour , ellen , jay leno , blah blah , Music Video . . blah blah) I want new music ASAP , but I don't think it's happening this spring . I would LOVE to be proven wrong !! But IF he's going to release a single , I want it to be fully promoted , releasing a single in the midst of the Queen buzz will only bury the song IMO (cuz queen will overshadow the single) (again , I would love to be proven wrong !!) Btw HI guys , been a long time , I buried myself in books and studies and physics and philosophy and french and history and and . . . But now I have some time to finally breathe , woosh !! ETA : But releasing a song as a "sneak peak" or a "taste" for what's to come . . .. THAT would be great
I agree with you, Kamar. An important question (for everyone): how much of a sure shot Adam's first single has got to be, considering the Trespassing singles situation? Is it buried enough in history that A3's singles can be treated normally, by a 'if the first one fails, there's always going to be the second one' scenario? Or is nailing the first one a must? For what it's worth, I feel like the previous two years have turned out to be a pretty good sieve for Adam, with only the good stuff sticking, plus he has worked hard on creating so many fresh chances. I feel like he is changing the 'rules' (you know, all the sucky ones of the music business.) He is a gamer, and you can't outgame the gamer:)

Queen is in the US and Canada. Doing promo for the single would be easy. And since most of the venues will soon be sold out, huge promo for Queen is not necessary. If there is no Spring single, then there will be no single on radio for summer. I picture Adam's first single being Pop/Rock/Dancey. A true summer single. It takes a good 3 months for a single to make its way up US radio. I have no idea when or if a single is ready. But not capitalizing on the Glee and Queen buzz just seems stoopid to me. I think you may be right! If you're right about it taking a good 3 months for a single to make its way up US radio, then Adam's single, if released in autumn, would bump into that silly hiatus which happened during BTIKM release, no? I really, really want/need everything to be perfect for the release of this single.

Interesting question. I don't know. Are those lovely marquees we saw going to stay there? That'd be good:) Also, if they keep rereleasing tickets, the buzz will still be there. There's always twitter:) Plus, they will start rehearsing eventually, and there was some really nice footage of that from their European concerts. I'm sure Adam's management will think of something.
Of course, if Mys*&@^#r's lovely words come to fruition, he's going to be busy with his single. And I remember someone here speculating about some other possibilities along that vein, like LMD release, or another surprise engagement for Adam...
ETA/// I do have a feeling that the media will be counting down the time to the tour as eagerly as Q3, though, so no issues there. I foresee some major flailing.
