Crazyforadam ----I just read the last pages of yesterday's thread this morning. Thought I would add that for Fantasy Springs...Adam did have/ did hire an "organizer"/"promoter". He did not do it all himself. This person organized contracts for entertainers, sourced venues etc...... what exactly the man did for Adam at that time, I do not know. BUT the man was pictured on The Planet Fierce thread being present at the Fantasy Springs resort......plus there was a short bio of him/ his company. I believe he also helped with the Vancouver .... RiverRock performance.....if memory serves me. ( therefore probably the Red Robinson show as well) Ok, so Adam hired somebody to help him? Ok. He probably needed that to even be able to book a venue, because you and I cannot just walk into a Casino and want to book it without some guarantees. And as I said, that ticketing process (and usually the promotion process) has to be managed as well. But, my point was. It was not RCA who did this, and not 19M. It was Adam. And you are probably right about Vancouver too, but Vancouver was only announced, once they saw the numbers from FS. And then they added the second Vancouver concert, when the first one sold out in minutes too. Ok... I posted as an FYI....I did not post to be mean spirited...I now get your point....Adam initiated.

Well, I couldn't resist.....I just had to peek at Atlantic City. An hour after presale, you can still get 3 seats together in lower side bowl 105 or Center 2 row 7 VIP..fantastic seats.....three together, or 3 together in the Diamond level in Sec l. sigh. If only it had been this easy 2 weeks ago.
Hope lots of Atoppers get good seats to some of these last 5 shows!

I have a request of all of our lovely Canadians here. I know you have very generous natures and love to share things. But could you please stop sharing those nor'easters and snow. Really, I do appreciate that sharing thing, but we've had enough here in the U.S. northeast - really. It's Spring and you guys are sending down more of that lovely white stuff tomorrow. Can you send it north instead of south? I know those polar bears up there could use a little love. Tie in to Adam: All of this generosity is causing a syndrome here - ATAWS. ATAWS stands for Atop Ass Widening Syndrome. Since all we've been able to do is sit on our asses in front of the computer since October, we're worried that this could spread to epidemic proportions (operative word being "spread"). So, I'm asking that you refrain from any more weather sharing for health reasons also. LOL.... go ahead, blame Canada, but don't blame us as a whole! Not all of Canada has had snow most of the winter. My part of Canada started our annual flower count last month. We have forsythia, daffodils, crocuses, cherry blossoms etc. in bloom and my rhododendrons and camellias are ready to burst soon. We've already had to mow our lawn and our neighbours planted two palm trees three weeks ago!

Buderschnookie...I have been researching different kinds of ear plugs and I am getting so confused. So these are the best to protect the ears and still let the music sound great? Some ear phones I use for my Ipod are hard for me to keep from falling out. I guess the standard Etymotic ear plugs stay in pretty good? Thanks for the information.

Need help finding something on ATop. This is an article I wrote some time back. 4Ms posted it in a pretty format SOMEWHERE on this forum, but for the life of me, I can't remember where, and can't find it now. I see a pic of it has surfaced on Adamofficial, and I would like it to be linked back to ATop and I would vainly like to be credited for it. Does anyone know where it is on the forum? Can anyone post the appropriate info on Adamofficial? Thanks. www.adamofficial.com/us/node/2264814I did a search on the word physiology and found you posted this on May 16, 2011 at 9:56pm in vocal masterclass thread but it was posted first in the daily thread probably either that same day or the day before. I didn't check that. I don't have the link to the page. ETA: link to post in thread adamtopia.com/post/47183/threadThanks a bunch. I tried searching but was not successful. You have the golden touch. Now, to see if I can post the link on Adamofficial. Haven't been on there for years.

On Fantasy Springs -- NO Adam did NOT arrange this himself. NO Adam did not fund this himself. > Fantasy Springs paid Adam a large guarantee to play this show, plus he received a % of gross and a bonus for the sellout. I have personally talked to FS management about this first show. > Fantasy Springs covered all expenses. > Fantasy Springs covered all promotion. > Adam paid the band as is general business practice for a solo artist. > The event was contracted through 19 Management and 19 M's employee (Lane) took care of all arrangements, press, etc. ADAM DID NOT SELF-FUND THE GLAM NATION TOUR. HE OWNED IT. THAT IS DIFFERENT.> He gets paid a lot to perform. Singapore F1 and Pittsburgh Pride were both $250,000 up front guarantees. The radio promos are less expensive -- for example the 2012 Capital Harbor concert was an $85,000 plus expenses deal. > The casino shows ALL have big guarantees + bonus payments for sales. > The festival and state/county fairs ALL have big guarantees + bonus payments for sales. > The 2013 Russian concerts and the Montreal Balloon festival were very, very lucrative for Adam. WOBM @wobm 2h Queen and Adam Lambert Are Coming To New Jersey! bit.ly/1ghXuOT
I knew there would be a show on July 26!! I think we have more shows to come!!

That is one thing you can attribute to Canadians as a whole I think....... we 'GET' sarcasm. I just enjoy dispelling the myth that as soon as you cross the 49th parallel, it is a vast winter wonderland.
