If they are going to be in Korea on Aug 14-15, they are gong to be somewhere between the Toronto concert and Aug 14. More dates in Asia-Pacific make sense -- Japan, Singapore, Australia?

OK - have always wanted to go to Australia - checking air miles, vacation accounts, Christmas Club account, deferred compensation account, change jars that I have been dropping coins into for 10 years, hummmmmm - something to think about. |

I think that comments like that are made by some young thing i who is implying " I'm so sad he is gay because I'd like to date him." Just as someone might say "He's married--so sad" meaning "I'm sad/disappointed for myself." They are not saying that the state of marriage is a bad thing. When I was young I had posters of cute stars in my room and imagined kissing them and going out with them. I think that is all that is involved with most of these comments. Of course, maybe there are older women making these comments too. Who knows. It is easy to find out -- just search on Google. Most of the sad tweets have nothing to do with girls wanting to marry Adam. Some are from people who think it is a bad thing, and are fans. Some are from Christians. There are thousands and thousands of them. Here are a few. CullenProperty said: When I first saw Adam audition on American Idol I fell in love with his voice & throughout the show, I just wanted to jump his bones! My dad said he was gay, but I didn't believe him & then when he said he was, I cried & hated him for like 2 monthes, but now I love him again! xD He is frickin' gorgeous, you can't not see hott in that man... I don't interpret any of these kinds of expressions as any kind of diss to Adam or gayness. Like others have said, it's meant as a compliment. I think what's missing from these kinds of "teenage laments" is the " for me" part = like, "Damn! Sad for me that Adam's gay!" and "Wut? He's gay? Well, that's just sad (for me)." Adam is trying, I think, to get people who say this, albeit unthinkingly, TO actually think about how "kinda annoying" it would be to see how lots of people professing to "love him" also profess some kind of regret about something essentially him. That's honest, #realtalk. Anyone can just enjoy whatever they are feeling about him. Period. I think that's Adam's point. |
