Persian Hooilbert @shahrzadddd 41m @milestougeaux a Glamranian (Mansoore)beside a barber shop in Iran which has Adam's picture on :D Iranians love him:) pic.twitter.com/3sHCPUOIuH
This absolutely blows my mind. Incredible! Let me start with 'post-modern;, given that we all are trying to wrap our brains around that word, right now: How 'post-modern' is this picture? I believe it is. How many cultural, social and political discourses of our time are crossing paths in this one simple photo? Iran versus US Male versus female Out gay versus invisible gay Jew versus Muslim Role model vs underdog Avant-garde versus traditional And the pride in her eyes, versus the determined pensive look in his I am just stunned. And let me say, proud of all those who embrace Adam under difficult circumstances in Iran, while we here only have the issue of trying to strengthen his voice in a sea of loud voices that all want to be heard, but can do what we do in complete freedom. ETA: and while talking about post-modern and what it might mean to us: Is there anything more post modern in music than crossing folk music with EDM? Yes, Avicii, of course. The Swedish school of music may have its tentacles reaching out a bit further than we think and looking for new horizons, rather than looking backwards at the pop that has sprung from there over the last 20 years, which fans tend to discuss. Intense forward motion! is what Adam said. And I love the recent fanart that has sprung up, it has clearly embraced the new direction already. So ready to hear what all this forward motion will sound like.

Not directed to your comment -- but must my observation about why Adam fans sometimes get mocked online. Some Adam fans are so irrational that I think they cause much of the problems that remain. For example, I looked at a YouTube with Freddie and Pavarotti. The comment were normal for 5 years. Then a Glambert (with a #) posted how Adam was so much better than Freddy and Pavarotti. (Yes, she misspelled Freddy!) Then she dibbled on about range and notes and whatever. It was a totally unneeded post and, of course, required the fans of the other artists to explain why their fav was the best. The YT was posted by a Queen fan who I know online. I alerted him. He cleaned up the comments and had to close them. I know this Glambert -- she thinks she is being a great fan. She causes trouble all over the web. She is really clueless. But she also gives all Adam fans a bad name -- and she just does not see it. All fangroups have fans like this. Adam just seems to have an unfair share! *** Adam will continue to win people over. Fans can help connect people to him and make cool stuff available to more people, but they can't "convert" people. Leave Adam to work his magic. Great post Q3 " They can't convert people. Leave Adam to work his magic". Wise words As an outsider I might have a unique perspective here...and I can say here that you two have it right. For example, while QOL has a loud Anti-Adam presence and is FAR from innocent from trolling and baiting, I have noted that a lot of it is stirred up by people who seem to think if they see just ONE MORE YT vid of Adam then they HAVE to change their minds. Or honestly what always makes me laugh is this one poster who will come on and post a random review of an Adam show by a random Glambert like that's going to convince people. "OH...Betty Sue from Texas said that Adam was hawwwt or was amaaaazing. I should rethink my whole position. I MUST be wrong." As Freddie said, talent will out. Let Adam win them over naturally. Force-feeding just causes backlash. But that's just my $.02

To any Australian members on the board, I have a question. Is the Ticketek.com site a legitimate site? I just got an email about tickets I have purchased to see Katy Perry in November. The problem is that I did not buy the tickets. I don't live in Australia, I am in the US.
I am trying to straighten this out. I have sent an email to Ticketek.com, but want to verify they are on the up and up (Yes, I should have verified Ticketek.com first.)
To the person who posted the Adam video of WLL (Nashville) this morning. Thanks! I love the last part of that performance. How he creates that operatic sound at the end of the song is just awe-inspiring. I am also loving the Glee performance of "Rockstar".
I wish I were able to travel to Vegas to see him this summer. I can't believe it has been 4 years since I saw him in Denver. About a week after the Nashville show. Adam commented at the end of the show that he was having a hard time breathing (Mile high city) it was also about 104 degrees. Miserable weather, but a WONDERFUL concert!

Take it from an old dog trainer- trolling is an attention seeking behavior. The only way to successfully extinguish it is to give it no attention.

I have learned a lot It was my first experience of fan forums or any other forums. Now I am worried of this: Force-feeding just causes backlash. This is better: "Let Adam win them over naturally." I have learned something on QueenOnLine Forum

This is such a treat - love hearing that clear as a bell voice without the background music. Thanks for posting this (and the gazillion other things you put up), adamrocks! And congrats to franki13 on your 2nd star! Wonder if it's a coincidence that poster in Iran was near a barbershop - his hair is a universal thing of beauty.
