Good news has been bustin’ moves all week long in the Adam Lambert camp.
First off, Adam and Brit rockers Queen have confirmed that in addition to their upcoming North American tour, they’ll also be performing shows in Japan and South Korea.
The new Queen + Adam Lambert gigs will be at festivals on the Asian continent, with one at the Super Sonic Festival in Seoul on August 14 and 15.
The band will then rock the stage at the Summer Sonic Festival in Tokyo, the next two nights, August 16 and 17.
“It’s always a great pleasure to perform in Japan,” Adam confessed. “But it is a very special honor to sing with Queen, and I am so excited to bring this amazing show to Japan in August!”
“We’re hugely excited to have the opportunity to return to Japan this Summer, to play concerts as Queen and Adam Lambert,” admitted Queen guitarist Brian May.
“We look forward to a very special reunion with our wonderful Japanese fans and friends. It has been TOO LONG!!”
Queen + Adam’s first gig on the tour will kick off June 19 in Chicago.
More good news for Glamberts came from Adam himself this week, as he shared further details about his hotly-anticipated album.
Chatting with fans on Twitter, Adam responded to their questions about the LP by revealing the sound will be absolutely “post-modern.”
“Very sonically diverse and very honest,” he revealed to his online fans. “A completely post-modern affair…I can’t tell u what ingredients I’m using…you’ll just have to wait to taste it when it’s good n ready!”
Adam also spoke out about his last week on the TV show “Glee,” by revealing that, “I wanted to say how much I loved being n @gleeonfox this season. I learned so much & had so much fun. Thanks to the cast and fans!”
And thank YOU, Adam, for making this grim little world shimmer so glittery-bright!
