There is also a "RESALE" option on the TicketMaster itself. I've never used it, but when I go to my account and display a specific ticket I have 3 different option buttons,: "my tickets", "transfer", and "sell". You can probably find the Terms and Conditions for the "sell" and see how much they take and what the payment mechanism is... Thanks nica575 .... mods, I would keep or make this private but there may be others with some of these same questions and concerns...and it is a slow day. If you would like me to cease this, let me know. I have just spent ages trying to find just that...a 'sell' link or option but to no avail...I even went so far as to input my credit card info waiting for that link to show up but it has not....the other two including the 'transfer' yes but not the sell. Perhaps that is because both I and the concert are in Canada and so then, I am on the Ticketmaster.ca site. Has any Canuck tried this? I have now sent an email to their customer help person so if peeps would like, I will post their answer. I know I can to ahead and use stub hub but I am like a dog with a bone now ..... grrr... frustrates me when sites offer an option it seems impossible to find. It is like people that try to announce a garage sale and leave off the address or the date, or that list shoes or clothing and neglect to state the size....you know what I mean!! Like REALLY?? sheesh.... Mzsue, I just checked the ticketsnow site and one needs to reside in the US to post tickets for sale there. As you mention, this may be an issue with other reselling sites. peace&love

JMO
Adam had to be better than everyone else to make it being a gay man in 2009 America. He had to sing better and interview better. The post AMA's was masterful because if Adam. He didn't apologize and blame others. He took on the issue head on and made people think. He went on talk show after talk show using his charm and intelligence. The AMA's had the potential to be a career killer if handled a different way. I still think without the kiss the media would have talked about the terrible vocal and the fall. Adam is a quick study and has not repeated the same complicated choreography that messed him up at the AMA's.
I truly believe things are happening on the right timetable for Adam. If Adam had Clay style success post idol would he have also have suffered the same slump ( I know they are different artists). I remember Adam talking about Kelly Clarkson's 3rd album "My December" being a commercial flop. He said it was his favorite album of hers and just because music doesn't sell doesn't mean it isn't good. Adam has built respect, connections and credibility in the 5 years post idol. Trespassing was critically acclaimed within the industry. This is only the beginning for Adan.

I understand that it is tempting to blame the media for all the Gay forward stuff but let's be honest here. Fantasy Springs was a media issue? AMA crotch etc stuff? Fellating his mic at pretty much every GNT concert? Kissing Tommy? Massive make-up? We love[d] it all and lapped it up but to say it is the press that put the Gay front and centre seems just a little disingenuous to me. He mad the choice and we supported him. But I also believe it definitely impacted his fame trajectory.....just as he impacted, for the good IMHO, the culture of gay acceptance in the US particularly. I suspect he would have had the radio play etc much faster if he had approached them like he is doing now...not hiding the gay, jus not rubbing it in their faces. This is not a right or wrong issue for me, in my opinion, so PLEASE if you disagree with me, cool, but do not take my above statement and tweak it to suit. I love the man, as we all do here, and I love his femininity as much as his masculinity. And history will almost surely treat him well, perhaps even as heroic. That does not change the fact that his road would have been a faster and easier one if he had moderated his appearance and behaviour just a little. And we know he can do that, and is not morally averse to doing it because he is doing it now. It is also now, that he seems to be finally getting attention for stuff other than being gay....coincidence? I doubt it..... First of all I can't really see how the concerts like FS or GNT had anything to do with public opinion at large that jomama is talking about. These are concerts for fans, not to mention that the GNT "antics" were his reaction to fans LOVING them. The more public went crazy the more he went for it. He is on stage to PLEASE US - he said it many times... Now, "massive make up" - this confuses me.. He shouldn't have been himself trough out the AI run? That would've been tragic IMO, but again, I don't really understand you here... jomama, Adam explained he felt he had to "upstage" previous performers, including the well accepted Gaga's smashing of Whiskey(?) bottles over her piano (THAT was OK for children to see of course). He came up with that kiss! It was f*ing BEAUTIFUL!!!! "international star": actually the world wide round of news coverage was caused not so much by the performance but by the US media REACTION to it, the GMA cancellation, etc... The way it was covered was mostly in a way of "look at the backwards US media...". But whatever the reason it did put Adam's name on the huge international stage...thank god! in any case, I think Adam got himself written into the music history books, social change history books, American culture history books....IMO it was a stroke of genius - in the long term especially... haha... I see us talking about the AMAs ten years from now...saying the same words...

To me, Gene Simmons comes off like a bit of an ass, and I think that that's part of his shtick. The "He [Adam] should shut up" comment in reference to Adam's Rolling Stone cover, though - that galls me. Adam Lambert was not put on this earth to please or answer to Gene Simmons or ANYone other than his own (incidentally, incredibly fine) self. Adam consistently does what feels right and true to him as a person and a performer, and I think it is working pretty damn well because he has an incredible career and LOADS of integrity.
Also, I think Simmons is a bigoted hypocrite. Gene Simmons "puts that ['that' being his HETEROsexuality] front and center" all the time, as many pop stars do. All Simmons is really saying is that ADAM should not express his HOMOsexuality "because that is forcing us to deal with it" and is a "big turn off to the masses." To which I would say, Gene does not speak for me when he says "us."
Adam has the goods and however he chooses to express them and conduct himself, whatever his various goals are, etc. are what interest me, what I support, WHATever they are, because his choices are a large part of what makes him an artist, and that's what interests me.

They let you get all the way to the end before suddenly informing you that you can't use their site....even though I have an active US bank account and credit card...hence the necessary routing number etc. Damn it why does dealing with the US have to be such a frustrating and demoralizing exercise....seriously...if you don't want outsiders using your services, just say so up front...and quit trying to sell to us then!!!....grrrrrrrr.....I wish this were an anomolie, but it isn't...it is pretty common. Back to the beginning... Thanks to all of you that tried to help me..... ETA Sorry for being such a grouch....I will now follow up on some of the other advice...I know about the twitter site but it doesn't look that promising...but will use...
