Still enjoying the new photos from last night. The one above makes his hair look especially green. (compared to the shade in the original hair photo Adam tweeted.) Don't know if it has been altered, or it's the lighting or what....
Also, seems like the reappearance of nail polish last night and in the earlier photo from the condo coincides with the new hair color....at least in the photos that we have seen. (what I'm trying to say... not very well... is that he could have been wearing polish other times but no photo evidence.) But seems like months since he has sported that look.
Not important...just my silly musing....

Thank you for the video from Hammersmith, Sophie. If this is a preview of what we can expect to see and hear in July, I will need to have some resuscitation plan in effect for the concerts!!!! Too excited to even think about it!!!1

Grandduchesspf, I had another thought on the t-shirt idea. Above the music design, put the words "You had me on". That is what we always say, right! This could work whether you use the full musically notation or just the notes with "Ma-ma" underneath. I rather like having several options to customize the design. oooh I like that. Didn't do much yesterday on the design, had a migraine, but here are some of the elements I'm playing with! Also putting Queen + Adam on the bottom. embryonic stage! I have to say though the more I play and embellish the more I want to leave the music part alone! and keep it simple     The bottom one with "you had me at.... and the staff with "mama" is just perfect! I love it. I was gonna put it on a yellow or gold shirt, but that won't work with the gold lettering. Have to make a different plan. Hmmm. But, yes, I like it. Certain to be recognized by a Glambert. For a person unaware of Adam and his history, they would be intrigued by the design and surely ask about it, leading to a discussion about the greatest singer in pop/rock today. All win! |

Is anyone else still having problems getting Adam's tweets? I have tried unfollowing him and then following him again and his tweets are still not showing up on my Twitter page. Often someone else I follow will respond to one of his tweets and that's how I know he sent one out. It's making me crazy! I don't get them either. Ever. I've unfollowed and refollowed. I've tried different twitter aps and accessing twitter on various devices. Nothing works. :( I can only assume there is some setting Adam has on whatever device or ap he is using that just doesn't work for all followers. Quoting myself.  After all that both murly & I got Adams tweet to Kelis today?!?! Have no idea why some come through and some don't. I am convinced it's something he is doing though, not us! Lol Anyone else who usually doesn't get Adams tweets get that one? |

TALON'S TAKE: NOTES: Q3 threw me a loop and chose a song I didn't do an entry for. Oh well..I always liked when they did this track - they always had a lot of fun with it! Chances: Jailhouse Rock......1% - I highly doubt it. Unless there is a specific reason that I don't know about, I just don't see it happening. They don't do as many covers anymore as they have so many hits to choose from. BUT if they were going to do an old school rock and roll cover....this just might be it;) There has to be a first time for everything! I think the odds are higher than 1% that this JR will be played on this tour. I'm giving it about a 20% chance of being played. (Anyway my adopted hometown is Tupelo, MS -- so Jailhouse Rock must be on my list!! Tupelo is Elvis' home town.) > They performed JR in 16 of 17 concerts in 1985, playing it in all 16 The Works Tour concerts. So that only leaves The Magic Tour (1986) without it. > They played it in every US Tour. |

Cassie can do any color you want! The gold is the queen gold used in their logo and is why I used it. I've been playing around with other things this afternoon and keep coming back to this one. I think I'm done. I tend to overdo and have to pull back. Wanted to incorporate a full circle moment symbol but can't find a way to combine the two effectively. After all too much detail and our chests get stared at for too long! i still have to use my crystal rhinestones and think I will put Queen and Adam under the design. Was thinking of enclosing it with the banner shown above but may leave it as a stand alone in garamond typeface. But... a caveat on transfer art. the transfer is transparent so the color of your surface ie the shirt color will bleed through and impact the colors in the transfer. so it is best to use white or use paper designed for black if you want a black shirt. Love love the ideas I've gotten from you all, I was despondent when it hit me that I was becoming an "outlaw" by using the Queen Logo. ie: actually I don't think I am ever done, so any more ideas? |

Just a small correction. They didn't play it during the 1982 Hot Space tour either...their last American tour! I think it would be fun - I just have a hard time picturing it being played.... It may even be higher than 1% but nowhere near 20% in my estimation....we'll have to see! |
