I won't click on a link that has that linkis.com crap in it. Maybe other people won't either. Maybe you should take that out of the link as it is just some stupid tracking program. Every time you click on one of those you have to go through some pop up box crap to get to the actual page. When I'm on my phone I often can't even close the pop up and sometimes it crashes my browser. If you just need a short link maybe use tinyurl or something that doesn't add extra layers of junk. WOW .. All you have to do is click on click here to see more at the top of the video.. don't even bother with the stuff on the side of the video. You're right if you click the side stuff It's a mess. I don't click those either and I don't get why you're advocating that site. I think we do have enough clicking to do without any extras. Direct link is the way to go.

So sorry.. Don't blame you for not wanting to use this. I don't have the same problem..What ever works is good.I'll post both. I see more complaints about it from people on twitter which is probably because they are on their phones so just thought I'd give you more detail on why people don't like it and some might avoid a link because of it. It is one of those things that falls in the category of maybe useful to the originator but a pain in the ass to an end user. Thanks appreciate your telling me. I can just post the youtube alone without link.. My goal is 300,000 after that I'm done..

Any reason not to use a direct link to the video itself?
ETA: Aww, Mellie's on it already.

The first time I click on it I get a pop up window over the page, then the page itself that I get has the video but it is not the Youtube page but a linkis page that says at the top "Linkis.com is showing you the most important part of the page. Click here to see more." and down the right hand side I see a whole list of linkis links for various things all with your name by them. So either you signed up with them at some point or used their share buttons to send out links. If I want to see the actual page I have to click on the link in that text message at the top. The initial pop up is a box asking if I want to share the link which I get before I even have a chance to see if it's something worth sharing. So if I want to see the actual page that was linked it takes at least 3 clicks all together to get to it. On my phone I have to shrink the page to get to the thing to close the pop up and sometimes no matter what I do the option to close the box without sharing is always off the screen. If I do manage to close the box the linkis fake page is usually all wonky and sometimes the link to go through to the actual page either isn't active or is off the screen no matter how I shrink the page. So basically it amounts to a pain in the ass so I make it a point to not click on anything that has linkis on it. rihannsu - I just go down to right side bottom of the video pix that says "youtube" and click on that - goes straight to the glee page and "Rockstar" - no mess, no fuss

For some reason.. of all of the songs Adam sung on the show, Rockstar is my favorite. The song is far from complex, but he looks joyous and seems to be having so much fun.

melliemom - for the reminders. I do love Adam's take on that song (when have I not loved Adam's singing???) but it always helps to be reminded where they are. Then, once I'm there (glee), I happily fall down a mini-rabbit hole. So in the spirit of sharing, here goes:

Also I didn't click the Out list. I saw the message that Adam's not on it - why would I click?
On the other hand I do click all articles that mention Adam and his music if the direct link if provided. I think that's important. I would click the green hair type links too if I happen to have time, but if not, it's not a big deal. The same that I do with voting in random polls, when I have time I vote (sometimes a lot) and it's fun. I like that poll links are posted, especially if the voting is limited and there's not a possibility to vote more on some days to compensate. It's quick and easy - and I like to participate. Song links, when direct ones, are great too - so easy to put the song on and continue reading.
