Speaking of DMG, what's funny is that their website is SO BARE of information. You represent Katy Perry, K.D. Lang, and Adam Lambert. Each artist has a couple pictures and the name of their booking agent. That's. pretty. much. it.I guess they figure that you ALREADY KNOW "who" they have. If you want the artist, call. If you want general info, go look on other sites. directmanagement.com/ DMG has only 6 artist as clients??? And only 4 of those have a booking agent??? Is that enough artists for a good management company???

Well that's a different sort of direction... Hope all works out well for her. How many Mileys do we need? Seems like she is seeking guidance to her adult transition to avoid a Miley (although, disclaimer, I really like Miley!)

Well, if ya got Katy Perry, how many artists do ya need? And what if Katy were to leave them? How would they stay in business?

I'll admit, I only know 3 of the 6: Adam, Katy, and K.D. But there seems to be a common thread between all of those three (and I'd guess all 6): Each of them are talented, proactive, extremely sharp cookies. And DMG apparently plays a VERY long game in terms of their artist development / opportunities; they don't play with the proverbial "flash in the pan". If DMG takes you, it's for the long haul in a collaborative effort. ETA: I don't think DMG is big. Just focused.

And what if Katy were to leave them? How would they stay in business? If you go under the premise that "bigger is better" I could see thinking that way. I think that smaller keeps them more focused on their clients! I have a feeling Katy might be extremely loyal to DMG. They did a lot for her to get her where she is after she left Columbia.
