I just got a text from my sister and niece who live in the town! They (esp daughter) are HUGE Adam fans. They listened outside, lol. He just wrapped up his set.

My thoughts exactly...I wonder how it feels for Adam to revisit some of his older material while he's in the midst of a new album and a tour with Queen? It's his music and a great gig, but it has to be like another lifetime ago, some of these songs. (not dissing the songs)
OK I think Adam looks great tonight and I'm thrilled that this 16 year old loves Adam.. Didn't we want Adam to have young fans.. Just to say we were never rich, but I had my Sweet 16 at the Copacabana in NYC. We didn't pay to bring Tony Bennett to the night club,Nor did we rent it out ,we had a couple of big tables & Tony was starring there. I was thrilled.,so were all of my friends.. That's going back a lot of years and to think Tony Bennett is still popular and still has a singing career.JUst to say some teens are pretty savvy.
I'm thrilled for this young lady and happy to know that she has such fine taste when it comes to a great singer who sings great music.. She apparently didn't go the rap route.. To add I'm so glad it was Adam Lambert and not Adam Levine..LOL Adam gets paid to sing , so why wouldn't he be for hire at special parties... He is listed for hire .. I looked him up.Of course I would have to sell my first born to be able to afford Adam....HMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Sometimes I wonder if Adam takes these gigs for an influx of cash for his band as well as himself. Just to be a nice guy. The band will be on their own for most of the summer.
This is probably something he agreed to for the band mostly. But not bad for Adam.
Why not for himself? This is what he does. He gets paid to sing. He's done private gigs before, plus he loves to perform! If someone can afford it, they book him! (And remember, this was supposed to be in January. So in the sequence of what is going on in his life, January would have made more sense than April. But he kindly allowed it to be rescheduled!)
