I'm in the process of uploading the Mama art as I write. The art is in three versions and three formats. Jpeg, BMP, and photoshop. The definition is at 600 pixel/per inch. The files are big! If someone, anyone has trouble downloading the file size I can reduce the resolution which you should be able to increase after you download. Check your printer some will do this for you without your having to have a big file. All it is is that they may have cut the intro -- to create a 3:00 or so radio edit -- vs. the 3:45 that Brian Cooke played. But no way to tell from this recording. The recording is missing the first 0:44 seconds and clipped a bet at the end -- but it also does not start at the beginning since it comes in the middle of the opening verse. Makes sense to me that UMG/Avicii did a 3:45 version and a second radio edit without the apx. 0:30 intro. But I'll wait for a proper recording. This girl tweeted she missed the first of the recording and apologized for that. Seems on first listen that some of Nile's guitar playing may have been cut (per Terra). We'll soon get the latest complete radio edit I'm sure. On this recording the sound mix sounds different but I think that could be the recording quality. ETA: I think this is the 3:21 just truncated. |

So if they have cut it more, it came from somewhere else. There was a 3:45 radio edit from September 2013 and that is from Avicii. That might be what she is comparing it to. If I start with the 3:21 that has been played in Australia, what UMG serviced to radio. This 2:45 sounds like a clip of the 3:21 to me. Are the song levels different? Maybe less guitar, more Adam. Are there 4 versions of LMD so far? I listened to it on the FOX FM but not on Brian's show. It has an 0:08 instrumental intro and has about 0:10 that could be cut from the end -- so it is possible they could cut it to a 3:02 -- the starts with Adam singing -- "I've been weak ..." ETA: The French version has the same 0:08 intro.  This new version is missing 20 seconds of Adam's vocal in the beginning because she missed that. So 2:45 + 0:20 = 3:05. There is 0:08 at the intro and a bit clipped of the end. It appears to me to be the same as the 3:21. Is there a really good rip of the 3:21 radio edit version? |

Other than Scorpiobert's LMD from Byron's radio show that included the intro with Tattoojo, this is the only version I have seen on twitter and it's 3:40 in length. I think she may have used Scorpiobert's DL and just cut off the parts with Byron and Tattoojo talking.

This is my official, sorry I have been lurking and want to contribute again notice. I stupidly locked myself out of my own account (idiot I know). Anyway, have been dying to comment since I bought tickets for the Houston concert and haven't been able to. So glad to be back. Missed you guys. Not that I have too much to say other than YAY! So much fun stuff happening.

Isn't the instrumental section at the beginning of the song there intentionally so that the DJ can comment and introduce the song over the intro. That's what Byron did; it builds excitement and keeps people listening. If that's the case, would it be included in the track length?
