Ha, ha! I love her! But Birthday is one of only 2 songs I always skip on her album. I knew it'd be a single though. It is perfect summer bubble gum Pop! Katy's videos are always enjoyable, for me! |

Q3, loved the story! Any idea if Adam had to pay royalities for singing Happy Birthday at the Sweet 16 private party? Nope. Private party! They get their royalties from movies & TV shows mostly. I just read there is a lawsuit that the people filing it will probably win, that the song is now "public domain" and the copyright is no longer valid. Depends if it is classified as a public performance .... That is a question for a lawyer not me. >> Corporate private events and University events are both yes. >> A big Bar Mitzvah = yes. Considering what was spent on that event, probably less than the cake and the Event company or Adam's management would usually handle it. *** As MySpenser50 already pointed out, there is a lawsuit pending that might just end all this silliness around "Happy Birthday" but there were a lot of songs performed that have active copyrights. |

Does anyone know how IMDB profiles are kept updated? Especially with Adam's role on Glee you'd think everything was more up to date and complete. I really want new pictures, especially his profile one. There are about 5 glee picks and then everything else is from 2009/20010. www.imdb.com/name/nm2189338/ |

Great story, Q3!! If I have just one glass of wine I get really talkative...I mean...very loose and chatty!lol So if I had SEVERAL glasses of wine and almost bumped into AFL (lol) I would either freeze up like a deer caught in the beams of 'glowing' headlights or I'd babble on FOREVER...not knowing WTH I was saying!!!  Adam would then literally back away from me...this crazy person!  Great story Q3! I have met Adam once, M&G in Helsinki 2013. I was like a deer caught in the beams of 'glowing' headlights (actually my last name Peura means deer in English  I staggered towards Adam and spluttered "I'm so happy to meet you Adam". Then I got a total blackout, I don't actually remember the photographing moment (my avi)  Afterwards I asked my son (who was with me):"Was Adam handsome, what kind of clothes he had? And I am 69 years old grandma  |

Yep hoping its a single here in Nz too, rumblings is end of April over here, but wait for confirmation. New Zealand is getting LMD -- Should be April 28, 2014. That is fantastic news!!!!!!! Only FOUR days away!!!!!  But have to ask, is this official confirmation??? I asked Liam McEwan today (who is now working for The Radio Network - iheart radio in NZ) and all he knew was that it has been added to the radio data base here, which means that they COULD play it.... reckons he'd know a day ahead if it was announced officially as a single....... Interesting date - in that Monday April 28 is a big day for 2 NZ radio stations, with one total re-branding, and a big shuffle around of DJs from different stations to new time slots and programmes...... will be interesting to see how it plays out! If it is the official release date of LMD it may get lost in the surrounding hoopla for 2 of these stations anyway..... time will tell!  BUT I have a very GOOD feeling that LMD will do very well here! Seems to fit the current "sound" I'm hearing on pop radio! |
