Celebrity endorsements come in two forms -- 1. Celebrity is related to the creative message -- example Amazon Fire and Gary Busey. 2. Celebrity is famous and appeals/influences the target audience the advertiser is trying to reach. Example LeBron James and Coke, McDonalds -- abcnews.go.com/Health/lebron-james-sprite-ads-responsible-selling-billion-spoonfuls/story?id=17934300There are usually two factors in picking celebrities for TV Commercials: > Awareness among the Target Audience -- usually advertisers are looking for 50% unaided awareness of more. > High favorably scores. In addition, there needs to be consistency with the celebrity and the brand associations/brand personality that is desired. Adam does not have high enough recognition and awareness to get big commercial endorsements in the US.

I'm sure it is more than 10 people in a room being observed? Interesting.

Reading elsewhere that this Sony Legacy release/Playlist: The Very Best of ________ has been done with at least two other ex-RCA Idols.... so I checked and both Clay ('09) and Ruben ('10) have them listed on their Wiki pages.

I have decided that I want to be a billionaire. There are at least four of them in Montana. :D If you figure out how to be one, please share the secret with the rest of us! Me too! I know the name of one of them because we share the same last name (before marriage) and I came across him in my genealogy searches a few years back. I had heard one of my grandfather's brothers had left the family in PA and headed west never to be heard from again.......wonder if it was this guys father?? Maybe I should reach out to him and........I'm kidding!! About contacting him, not about having same last name.......just rambling on a slow night while another room full of teens and their excited parents are being entertained tonight...... ...waiting for vids.....impatiently......

I'm sure it is more than 10 people in a room being observed? Interesting. This is simplified but to give you a general idea..... Selecting celebrities for major ad campaigns is usually measured with market research -- most often with a carefully designed survey and/or 1-on-1 interviews. >> The brand attributes of celebrities are measured in the same way as brands. By recognition and awareness -- I mean do the target consumers recognize the image of the person? -- are they an "icon", a symbol. How rapidly do they recognize someone? Awareness is measured by asking representative consumers general questions to measure unaided awareness -- example, name a brand of soda? Coke, Pepsi..... (The order matters). Then prompting for more -- can you think of any more soda brands? 7up (secondary unaided awareness) Then asking about missing brands? Have you ever heard of Dr. Pepper? Yes. (aided awareness.) Then there are questions about familiarity, associations, attributes... For celebrities, there are also background searches and conflict reviews. ** There are also some syndicated research tools the most famous of which is Q Scores. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Q_Score
