My fantasy on the theme of "if I could afford to book Adam for a private event what would I want him to do" came down to a few "wishes": 1) I would ask for a "no mic, no amplification, only voice"...obviously it would have to be in a small space 2) I would ask him to sing "By The Rules" and "Runnin'" 3) I would ask to please NOT sing WWFM or BE (no danger he would sing BTIKM or NCOE anyway) 4) I would ask for any classical peace of his choice 5) the rest would be up to him, I'd love all of it What would be your wish list? Some of my favorite Adam performances have been radio promo acoustic renditions of songs, so acoustic would be fine. Sleepwalker, Naked Love, Shady, Is This Love, are ones I would have to request. I agree no WWFM. Stay/Underneath would be nice too. Oh and Aftermath. True for me as well. I'm surprised at how beautiful BTIKM is in all the acoustic versions he did. I pretty much always skip that track on the album. There is something about the production that just bugs me. |

The association between songwriters and a publisher in not that important -- so the connection between these songwriters and a song managed by Warner Chappell is not really meaningful. ** What is meaningful is that that they have not worked with Max Martin in the past (as least I could not find it if they have) and so either Adam was working with more than 1 producer OR Max Martin brought in a lot of new, young songwriters for the writing camp. Are we sure Adam is working with Max Martin? Do any of these writers give a clue of a label? Yes, it is confirmed that Adam worked extensively with Max Martin, Max put together a songwriting camp for Adam, and confirmed by Billboard plus photos and video of Adam working there. The thing we do not know is what other producers are involved with this album. No clue about what Adam's status is with a label -- except that Max Martin only works with major label artists. And Adam said they were talking to a couple of labels in November 2013. Aside for the clues Adam gave us -- he is working with people who are not associated with any specific label. So we will have to wait. But I think we will know about the label in a couple of weeks. |

I am a bit under the weather today so I can't give anything in depth on Talon's Take.
It was a pretty thorough list from Q3. Off the top of my head the only things to change:
Long Away - Technically performed at a Queen show when Brian pulled it out during QPR tours in 2005.

My idea of the perfect set list would be for Adam to sing every song he has in the vaults over at RCA. The songs will go viral on the AdamUnderGroundNetwork because Adam CAN perform his own works, and everybody gets to listen for FREE! It will then leach to the general public and by osmosis, the world will be singing all these tunes around a campfire, roasting marshmallows and global peace will ensue. Adam will have a billion fans and he will get 33 years of constant radio play for A3 cause 3 is my lucky number and this is my fantasy sooo..  |
