Do you think the idol songs are the actual performances or the studio recordings? i like this list, personally could do without 9 & 11. |

Excellent question coo.coo.ca.choo. Certainly a thought i pondered.
So, anyway, are the AI songs listed on the Best of AL tracklist the actual idol performances or the studio recorded versions of the AI performances? I have all but one of the AI studio versions, but like the live version of TOMT better. I always wondered why Adam did not record TOMT in the same intense way he performed it live, especially in light of Smokey's comment of Adam's unique interpretation.
If Adam posted One maybe that is his way to support this "Best of" endeavor.

I like the list but in terms of new Queen fans, they could of added say more rockish idol studio recordings like FG or WLL, FG is imo the best idol studio recording ever. Runnin was my fav from Trespassing, Clyg is one of my favs from Fye and the underrated Pick you up. But being a legacy recordings its more a playlist of a certain amount of ALs most popular hits, and songs the casual fan can familirize with.

I wonder if the track list for the US will be the same as Japan? Time for miracles is the track that really surprised me.

All of the Motown recordings, for all of the idols, had to use the original Motown backing tape or something. They couldn't change the arrangement up for the studio, only for the live performances. |

I would think that the AI recordings are actual performances, since the others are called studio. You should be able to tell by the times on the recordings. Also, for TOMT, TPTB made them use the actual backing tracks from the original.

Oh thank you very much for answering my question, Jablea and stardust! Poo on TPTB and Motown! Even though TOMT is still one of my favorite studio AI tracks, Adam's live rendition was extra-ordinary.

OK here is a weird coincidence -- both parties were birthday parties for women who are Glamberts (one 16 and one a bit older), both party givers are millionaires who made their money in senior health care. George Rapier is substantially richer but both are quite wealthy. ** I wonder if the Rapires need a caretaker for that home?  So, Medicaid has basically made them their money? No Medicare and other government and private insurance of seniors. Both run great companies -- which is not always the case. George Rapier company provide physician management services. Highly innovative and patient-centric business model. *** New thread is posted. |
