If the mile high tag is a reference to Denver and not sex LOL could it actually be a reference to Ryan Tedder? Remember Tedder's studios are in Denver, but I haven't been paying attention to where he is right now. ETA: Just looked up One Republic and they just finished in Europe and are starting back in the States May 10th so maybe he didn't go home but to Denver for some work with Tedder? The most direct flights between LAX and Bozeman, Montana go through either Denver or Salt Lake City. I think he was just on a layover in Denver, whose nickname is "The Mile High City" because of its elevation. BUT! I do think Sweet Thing means something. Even the rip with the "S" separated could mean something! And Weatherman Realness is way too random to not have an Adam meaning that I think we will soon know! Just saw a report on all the unique ways marjuana is being sold in Colorado, e.g. in different types of candy. I think Adam had some sweetener laced with it, and thus the "Mile HIGH".

Still thinking that it is a hint at Islands (NZ), then he tears the 's' off, making it Island. And as if to confirm, that we are talking only about one, he sends us ONE by U2, which ties back to Island (Records) again.
I was generally more on team LAVA before, based on clues, but I do believe these clues rather point to Island.
We should know soon, not anymore soonish, imo. ====================
As far as the playlist that RCA has chosen for their album:
I actually think they have put quite a bit of rock leaning tracks on there, probably targeting the Queen audience and any other person leaning towards rock or more vocally pronounced tracks, rather than the dance, rhythmic tracks. Wonder whether part of the plan is to sell this record at the Queen concerts? Where do we have an Amazon listing? Japan, US, CA? Are there others?
I think WWL would have fit very well too, but maybe Robert Plant did not clear that cover for a record outside of the idol environment.
The only two dance leaning tracks on the album are IIHY and Trespassing. It is one side of Adam's recorded material, and very clearly not the other. Interesting indirect statement from RCA on what the record company liked best.
As far as as PUU. I also love this track, but Adam has never explained, what it is that makes this track such a no-no for him. He has never performed it, never seemed to have liked it all that much, mentioned once, that he is not really a fan of Weezer, but that is all that was ever said. I have a hard time believing that the one cut during the glory note, is what led to this total ignoring of something that always was a fan favorite. Another mystery topic for a future biography, even though somehow I have my doubts that Adam would even tell us then.

I have always thought PUU knocked voodoo off of FYE. I vaguely remember the 9 spot being blank the first time the track lists were posted. I love PUU it is a great driving song, but it's no Voodoo.

Another mystery topic for a future biography, even though somehow I have my doubts that Adam would even tell us then. I think these clues could point to Island --- but then again they could not. The coincidence of this Playlist release and it including One and Adam tweeting the studio performance of One seems to logical to me to be anything else. *** The Playlist series are usually made up of singles plus a special track or two. In Adam's case, Sony has a valuable catalog but only 2 studio albums with 7 singles (including TFM) plus Aftermath which was a charity single. They needed at least 12 tracks, and in the end included 14 tracks by also including: They picked three types of tracks for this album: 3 American Idol performances -- there were not released worldwide -- I am 99% sure they pick the top sellers. I strongly doubt that Led Zeppelin would have held up a release of Adam's studio version of WLL. They have approved other cover recordings -- most famously Foreigner. (They did this for Clay's album too.) 2 Bonus Tracks from Adam's albums -- they picked the best of those tracks IMO. 1 track that they own from the Glee License MTN. ** FYE is also a dance track and was the track that got the most club play of any Adam single and was a #1 dance track. That is 3 electro-dance tracks on the album. Plus 4 ballads (WWFM, TOMT, MW, BTIKM), 2 power ballads (TFM, One), 2 pop tracks (NCOE, MTK), and 3 rock tracks (Aftermath, Runnin', CLYG). Seems pretty representative to me. ** Adam addressed PUU in a few interviews. He never said anything about not performing it live that I recall. He answered a question about why it was not a single -- and explained it was not the right song for radio. And another interview he explained that it involves studio tricks. PUU is a track that can't be sung live without being rearranged, and if it was rearranged, it really would not be PUU. It really did not work well with the GNT setlist. Maybe someday he will perform it.

ITA about Voodoo. I also love CLYG. I do not think PUU knocked off Voodoo though. But we know that NCOE knocked of Runnin' :(
