Around 9:45 PM Pacific Time, Adam posted this photo to his Instagram account. There were no hints or clues to what it is for yet BUT I believe that "intense forward motion" is going to start SOON! All I can say is "finally!"

David Wild is an American writer and critic in the music and television industries and a contributing editor at Rolling Stone magazine.
So looks like this is a Rolling Stone interview. Update; Maybe not.

Sony Music to Release 'The Very Best' of Adam Lambert

The "American Idol" runner-up's 14-track greatest hits compilation comes out just in time for the singer's summer trek with Queen.
While Adam Lambert fans patiently wait for new music, Sony Legacy will issue a collection of the singer's greatest hits for those who want to complete their collection of official releases by the American Idol season eight runner-up.
Lambert's former label home (RCA is a division of Sony) will put out a "physical release" of the album, titled The Very Best of Adam Lambert, on May 27.
The compilation will include three American Idol performances from when he was on the show, including his covers of "Mad World" by Tears for Fears and "One" by U2. Lambert's version of Lady Gaga's "Marry the Night" from his appearance on Glee closes out the 14-track CD.
Also included on the record: Lambert's contribution to the 2012 film, 2012, Time for Miracles.
"If some of these tracks feel like musical mission statements, it's in their skillful fusion of mainstream pop and rock with left-of-center, if not underground, musician and pop-cultural markers, and their clear conviction towards that mission," reads the album's liner notes. "And it that's not the hallmark of an artist who's unfailingly true to himself... well, you are invited to listen to some more until you get it."
Lambert walked away from his recording contract with RCA last July after the release of two albums, 2012's Trespassing and 2009's For Your Entertainment, along with several EP's and a live collection.
Since then, the singer has been busy working on new music in Sweden with producer Max Martin. He is set to hit the road with Queen this June.

What Adam Lambert Collection would I release if I was running Sony Music Entertainment?

Dream cap set to on!
Let me start by saying the inexpensive CD collection with 14 tracks is very nice. And I am sure it will sell. But.....if they let me design an Adam Lambert Collection, I would make it the complete works of Adam Lambert -- all of the Idol performances with audio and video, all the singles, all the music videos, all the album and EP tracks, all the bonus tracks, all the remixes, plus I would make a deal for the best of the unreleased demos. And I would put it all in a glam stainless steel box.
The I would let fans prebuy it. If 5,000 copies were sold (worldwide), it would be produced. And that would be it. 5,000 copies, numbered.
Now that would deserved the title "The Very Best of Adam Lambert Volume 1". {imagine the Adam laugh at the end of PUU here}
Why Volume 1? Because my dear friends at RCA and SME, the "Very Best of Adam Lambert" is yet to come.

The song describes how "a good old-fashioned lover boy" will romance with an unnamed love interest, especially at night.

I would love to be there when Adam performed this song. Check it out, read the lyrics, and just say -- “yes, do it.” It is a sweet, sexy, sophisticated romantic ballad with a place for a full strut in it! About 60% of the audience would likely be dead when it was over.
The likelihood that they will perform this is about 0.01%. But seriously Brian (wave to him through the digital universe) why not pull this one out!

"Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy" is the third single and the eighth track from Queen's 1976 album A Day at the Races. It was also on Queen’s first EP released in November 1988.
The song starts with a piano and vocal introduction by Freddie, then continues, with the bass and drums adding on, at the start of the chorus. The second verse is sung, followed by another chorus. At this point, the drums, bass and guitar drop out, which then leads into the bridge, sung by Freddie and Mike Stone. Following Brian’s guitar solo, another verse is sung, and then the chorus ends the track.
