I wonder....hmmm.... Brian just tweeted this: Now a. that makes me excited and want to cry  BUT I wonder if they will use this tour to promote separate ventures...maybe QAL performs an A3 track and maybe Adam sings one of the newer Queen tracks? Just a thought. |

"Don't Stop Me Now" is one of my favorites for Adam. He was still not in best voice in Kiev, but had it perfected by Hammersmith IMO. I was always uncomfortable hearing it with Freddie because it seemed self destructive (I heard it after his death). When Adam sings it I feel like he is saying he is having a good time on stage entertaining us. This is one I hope to hear with QAL - hopefully flying. Would that be a good 2nd half opener? Adam flies back on stage following the Roger/Brian middle set. Check out Roger's Jacket in today's video.  |

has anyone received the Chris Saundersone phone cover yet? Very little info to be had on the web site Yes, I received my yesterday, a little disappointed with it, only because it is a little slippery and the cover its replacing wasn't.  |

Adam has been mentioning the designers of what he is wearing on twitter the last few appearances. Is he now getting these clothes for free as an endorsement or is he trying to get endorsements? He usually gets mentioned for his fashion and articles are including the designers in their write up.

I usually think Brian is right about music but this is one song that I would love performed with a whole lot less guitar.
This works best as written, with the piano (keys would work fine) as the instrumental melody. It is a mid-tempo, dramatic pop ballad. Exactly in Adam's wheelhouse.
In London the July 11 and July 14 performances were just f'ed up by Brian being off a bit in this song. But all of the QAL performances had way too much guitar on them for my taste.
I will not be surprised if this song is included on the QAL NA set list -- it seems like a logical inclusion to me. I will be pleasantly surprised and shocked if Brian just plays his solo and falls back to supporting rhythm guitar for the rest. (Not happening, but he is Brian May and I will allow him to be "stupid" just this once!)
I can't disagree. No-one's perfect but I could see an argument that it *ALMOST* seemed petty that Brian used his guitar to start off the song w/QAL considering Freddie had always wanted it purely piano. Bri, it's okay. You are a god at guitar and we know it.  At the end of the day though I'm just glad to get the song played! I love the piano intro that Freddie composed. It works perfectly and really does not need to be changed. The dynamics of the song change when it has that rock intro. JMHO. |

He is interested in fashion, and he respects design talent -- and he loves to shop! *** Adam said he bought the suit. As far as I know, he buys and owns all of his clothes. In this case, the shoes, shirt, and almost all the accessories came out of his closet. We have seen him reuse things that were 5+ years old -- like the red pants! I do not think he throws anything out! Ever. |
