I am a little out of it. Which venue is this? It is not any specific venue. It is a general sketch of the arena venue stage. They will set up a version of this for most shows. It will NOT be used in Las Vegas, or for the Special LA concert. And I doubt they wold do this in Merriweather. >> It has been sent out for Vancouver, Boston, Toronto, Philadelphia and several other cities that I know of. >> It is an upgrade for people who hold $495 Ultimate VIP Tickets. ETA: It does confirm that there will be an elevated curved catwalk and a huge video wall. That means this should be a good show for most of an arena's seats. My show is the Vancouver one and if the thrust is still where most diagrams have shown it to be....but it is elevated, then the thrust heads directly towards the area my seat is in!!!! That was why my excitement!! I realize that he would not be out on the edge of that thrust SOOO much but when he is....OOHH LA LA.... that is it....no biggee...lol |

Looking at that diagram, looks like only 12 seats available for stage seating?
From this, it looks like the catwalk is going to be up really high - three steps up, then up to the round bit, then another three steps. Hope he doesn't fall off - though there'll be plenty of people happy to catch him - most of them on this board! I got this same diagram today for the LA Forum. Q3's right, I think it's standard. I'm not interested in upgrading to the stage for $1200, or trade in my good seat + $700. Now, if there had been a M&G of some sort......then I might have considered it. lol. That raised "thrust" is interesting. Maybe it'll help those on the floor toward the rear to be able to see better. As long as I can see over the thrust to the stage I'll be happy. I hope he prances to the end of the trust a lot! |

Early evening musings,home sick with a virus..It's amazing how many artists are vying for new albums/tours ,etc... All the Reality talent show folks ,then of course radio's top ten singers,the ones they play over and over again and who win all the awards on the award shows, and then all the older singers/bands who are making comebacks. Then of course all the unknown talented people trying to break into this crowed entertainment field,Just at the time when music isn't selling that well .. Amazing amount of creative people and the pie keeps getting smaller.. Just my impression..Some entertainers going into movies,going on Broadway,doing TV work..so much competition.
I guess It's always been a struggle for fame , fortune & creativity.. I guess I'm more aware now that I'm an Adam fan. I read so much more and observe much more. I think because I'm invested like I have never been previously.

OT, Michael Slezak did a phone interview with Per Blankens EP of American Idol. I think he asked some great questions about some of the changes that have been made this year to AI. Here is the link if you want to read it.
