ADAM LAMBERT ✔ @adamlambert
Good running into you today @brookecandy you're charming. Me thinks the wink means it wasn't accidental and he's still writing/singing songs. Sia produced Brooke Candy's EP that was just released last week and Adam has been seen with Sia in March and April. Or maybe she was hanging out with her dad at the Hustler Casino and Adam just happened to be there too? nah

I think it was SophieB's story, talking about EMAs performance. (My favorite moment as well - it was first time I heard Adam. And fell in love. Forever! ) Wow! Shimoli - was this really the first time you heard Adam? What an introduction - it really couldn't have been better... It was a very special moment for me - it was the moment I felt his future was assured. But that one performance has had even greater significance for you so I give up my claim to this as 'my' most momentous performance and give it to you. AWWW! This is so sweet from you SophieB! Thank you so much! Yes, it was an amazing coincidence - I love Queen and thanks to their performance with Adam on EMAs I found him and become a fan. It will be forever in my memory how mesmerized I was. I showed the EMA's vid to my husband (he is a fan of Queen as well) and he loved it and became Adam's fan immediately as well. :D So it was really a big moment in my 'Adam Lambert fandom life'. And I'm really lucky, because I saw Adam live with Queen (even twice) and last year I saw his live performance on Life Ball in Vienna (I wrote about it as my favorite moment on 5th Annual Adam Lambert Day's thread). I enjoyed your post about EMAs on Adamtopia daily thread two days ago. It brought to me all the wonderful memories of that fabulous performance. And thank you again for your kind words. I can imagine how important that performance must have been for you (and other fans who knew Adam back then). I read a lot about the hopes, anticipation and expectations of all Atopers while waiting for Adam's performance that evening. And I can imagine your feelings when you saw him on the stage. I'm sure it was your most momentous performance and I think I can't take it away from you, but I'm happy we can share our memories of that beautiful, magic moment, so precious for us, Adam fans.

What the hell does "thrust" mean? Thrust at the EMA stage.... My favourite stage ever is the Tom Patterson theatre at Stratford, Ontario. The thrust takes up the whole theatre so it is closer to 'theatre in the round'. The seats are so banked that where ever you sit, you can watch the tears well up and spill over on the actors....Saw Uncle Vanya there and also Long Days Journey into Night......spell binding. Difficult to set design but when it works, it is unparalleled!! Attachments:

Well that is a piss off. I have number 1 out of 100 from the original offer. oh well I wouldn't sell it anyway as it was my first foray into Adam related paraphernalia.

Man, I have a dirty mind -- I thought it meant something totally different. Tsk, tsk, silly ladies. A thrust stage is one that extends into what is normally considered audience space. It "thrusts" into the audience and therefore, the audience is often surrounding the thrust. I said that! ^^^ The above was my snarky 2nd reply to Q3!

I just caught up with the threads (three days behind) and wanted to thank everyone for their favorite Adam moments. I hope it's not too late but I'd like to share mine with you all. Is it Fantasy Springs I and giggling throughout WLL? Nope. Is it eye contact at Fantasy Springs II that curled my toes? Nope. My favorite Adam Lambert moment is based on his Rolling Stone cover. While visiting my father in Alaska the Rolling Stone cover hit the newstands and I was on the phone with my husband back home giving him instructions on how many magazines I needed him to buy (I wasn't sure I'd find them in Alaska). When I got off the phone my dad asked me who was on the cover of Rolling Stone so I told him about Adam Lambert, my songbird. Then Daddy got on the computer and printed the lyrics of "On the Cover of the Rolling Stone" and said "There's a song about being on the cover of the Rolling Stone" and we proceeded to sing the song together. It was the last song I sang with my father. He died a few months later and as I flew out of my hometown staring out the window of the plane after attending his funeral, I had Adam singing "If I Can't Have You" in my ears and tears streaming down my face. Adam got me through that day and the entire next year. So my favorite Adam moment is singing with my father. Does that count? What a lovely, touching memory. Thanks for sharing. ♥
